The Bruised Heart...
turning the key to see if it fits,
Only to realize it is empty as it sits.
Lonely and scared of what the day brings~
Only to find out all that it can take... the pain and suffering.
The bruise heart,
Longs for a fresh new start.
Giving more and more with each passing day~
Not wanting to except rejection and whatever else that might come it's way.
When all is said and done,
It's the bruised heart that is the one.
