The Black Knight
Twas the night beyond where the stars shall fall
Thy veil of spirits hear thee call
And left but memories of a past
Of where the darkest fears and screams are vast
And cast thy truth within thy hand
To bare thee witness of this man
Whos darkest shadows of the night
Has entered her in their delight
Depleted light and starved was he
Was a place this knight would reveal to me
For it breaks thee down thy falling tower
and creates this change in death this hour
Venom struck me twice upon my head
And sucked me into pain
through the depths of my bed
His kingdom gardens whithered
from thy stench of death everywhere
His servants followed him around
Of no one that has rested there
The trap doors opened a honeycomb
revealing every sorrow and weakness to roam
And windows bared no light through cracks
Twas darkness led me blindly back
The Blackest Knight riding as wind
To wrap the wounds that bleed again
Around my neck deprived my breath as he fed
To find thee Warrior where veins are bred
And lifted thine eyes in his blade to see
Were all the blackest hounds of me
I feared the bloodiest battle around
My soul in darkness and pulsing sound
The deepest part of shadow be
And reared up on his horse to battle thee
His eyes that carried all thy pain
His hands that showed thy scars remained
Thy shadows came to gather around
What silvered scythe reflected noun
To meet thee darkness in thy mind
And to face a past rebutal of Karmic kind
But I stood courageous to face my fears
To overcome the shadow coming near
And blood seeped out from every vein
And Willed my self to heal again
I drew my hands up to the sky
And came a voice upon the nigh'
The sparks they flew which aired no harm
As Raven descended from the North to light my arm
And the Blackest Bear came from the East to bind
As the Widow came from the South to weave a rhyme
And from the deepest cave of the Sea
An Octopus came and devoured me
To end the Black Knight of a Breed that be!
