The Bible is not “A LIFE GUIDE.” It’s simply quotes, suggestions, and advice given. If it was a guide God would have put it in simple terms.

The Bible does not hold the power to control our lives WE DO! It’s the way WE interpret things not how GOD interprets them. We don’t know God like he knows us, after all HE MADE US we didn’t MAKE HIM. He knows we will make mistakes, and he knows we need to make some ’wrongs’ to find the ’right. ‘

If you don’t think I’m right… GOOD!! But don’t think I’m not right just because the BIBLE says so. Think I’m wrong because YOU say so, because that’s what you TRULY believe. Not what something or someone tells you to believe.

Is it right to hit children…. Is being gay wrong? The Bible says yes to both of those.

In the Bible is says if a child disobeys he should be stoned, and that a man shall not lay with a man nor a women with a women. Today hitting a child is wrong, but a guy kissing a guy is still unacceptable. Who chose what part of the Bible we should listen to, who chose what we shouldn’t.? If one part of the Bible is wrong, does that not make the whole thing questionable?

I think God put the Bible here as simple suggestions or advice not as a guide. You forget God gave us choice and free will he gave us a brain to reason with ourselves right from wrong. Just as a parent he gives us advice and his perspective he doesn’t just give us the answer. That… that is something we must find for ourselves. LIFE is all about choices.... all about lessons.... not answers.
