Today is a fabulous day! I woke up feeling perfectly able to conquer the world! It doesn't matter if the sky has unleashed torrents of rain upon the land. It doesn't matter if my family doesn't visit. It doesn't matter if I'm not terribly rich. It doesn't matter that my baby brother and my boys are overseas. It doesn't matter that I couldn't spend this time physically with my darling. It matters that God has blessed us with water to replenish our dwindling water table. It matters that I have my beautiful nephew with me to giggle his little boy giggles as he presses sloppy kisses to my cheek and hugs my neck tightly. It matters that God has provided what I need most, as well as giving me the delights of His blessing in the form of great and true friendships. It matters that my baby brother, who is currently cradled in the safety of God's merciful hand, called me today to wish me a Merry Christmas and tell me he and the boys love me and wished to thank me for the care packages and gifts. It matters that my darling cares enough to make it special despite the distance. So, you see, it doesn't matter, but it does matter to me...
