From a distance I pondered how it would feel
how could her mere glance command such zeal
As her eye's glisten like the solace of a blue sky
inducing an atmosphere with a compelling high
When I finally met her gaze upon me in the park
there I stood spellbound by the initial spark
Seeing her smile , listening to her voice
I don't think I ever had a choice
In the way that to a degree she continue to hit high notes
her laughter fondled my smiles to row boats
Knowing it was just a brief moment we could share
it seamed we might be destined to more then flare
Pondering under the spotlight of our good bye
anticipation clutches my breathe as I ponder why
walking away never wanting to end the journey
waiting for that moment of unadulterated endless sea |
