I got a voice mail from my ex wife saying that my sister in law passed away Friday. Talk about being hit hard. She was the the baby of the family and may have lead the hardest life of her of her family. She was under 40. I remember all the hear ache she caused my in laws. I remember all the heart she she caused my ex. She walked her walk and got lost in the lime light of drugs. One of the last times I seen her she looked like a human raisin. All the life sucked out of her. Last I had heard she found the road to recovery and was on it. She didn't die from an over dose she died from the after effects from years of abuse. She leaves behind both parents, a brother, two sisters an ex husband, a daughter and grand child, numerous nieces and nephews. Years ago I was on the same path of destruction. For those who read my profile you know I have over 13 yrs of sobriety. I know at least one person is asking themselves what are you doing here. FUBAR home of the online happy hour. Well the answer is simple. Someone needs to be the designated driver. Mary this ones for you. My next 24 hours of sobriety.

A cop stops a car for traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Since he's in a good mood that day he decides he might give the fellow a break and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. So, he asks the man his name. "Fred," he replies. "Fred what?" the officer asks. "Just Fred," the man responds. When the officer presses him for a last name, the man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it. The officer thinks he has a nut case on his hands but plays along with it. "Tell me Fred, how did you lose your last name?" The man replies, "It's a long story so stay with me. I was born Fred Dingaling. I know, funny last name. The kids used to tease me all the time. So I stayed to myself. I studied hard and got good grades. When I got older I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college medical school, internship, residency, finally got my degree so I was Fred Dingaling, MD. After a while I got bored being a doctor so I decided to go back to school. Dentistry was my dream. Got all the way through school, got my degree so I was now Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS. Got bored doing dentistry so I started fooling around with my assistant. She gave me VD. So, I was Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS with VD. Well, theADA found out about the VD so they took away my DDS so I was Fred Dingaling MD with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Dingaling with VD. Then the VD took away my dingaling so now I'm just Fred." The officer walked away in tears laughing.

Know someone who needs a hug a genuine hug, give it. It just might save someones life. To all who have given me that HUG, I thank you. You just might have saved a life.

Went to work last Friday..Make a long story short the boss chose to terminate my employment. In a way it was a big relief. Now the realization that I'm now jobless set in really sucks. Depression is bangin hard on the front door of my brain. I now understand how people feel that have been in the same job for years and boom it's gone. What really bites is I don't have a clue of what I'm going to do.

I just loaded paint shop pro on all the computers that I work with. That is one program that is kickin' to work with. I'm learning how to use it and I already have a couple photos done. I just need to get them uploaded. Now the fun begins.(AGAIN)

My sweetie gave me the most awesome present that I ever wished for. She gave me the most awesome laptop that I could only dream of. I'm still in shock as to the gift I received. This gift is better then any of the desk tops that I've Built for myself. Bottom line I have a go fast that is portable. Thank you sweetie I am really humbled by this gift.

I was talking with my ex wife today via yahoo. She got to talking about my relationship with God. She told me that I needed to get on my knees and pray. I politely told her that the last time i really prayed I prayed for saving my marriage, I believed and prayed and believed. What I got was divorce papers and an ex wife. With results like that its really hard to pray. Now I really feel like a lost child
