I have a testimony for you guys tonight! It started when I left my home late yesterday night to go to my cousin's house to see my sister. Of course it wasn't a place a person who doesn't do drugs or drink alcohol should be, but I went. My sister and I left for a short period of time, every one was quite happy when we left. When we got back however it was all gone wrong.
Norma (my cousin) was up screaming and ranting and raving at her ex-boyfriend (Joe) who got saved some time ago. She was in his face. Before we knew it, she was beating him black and blue, smacking him & punching him as hard as she could across his face. Do you know what was so amazing about it? He sit there and took it, just prayed every time she laid a hand on him! Could you imagine doing that? He turned the other cheek, which is EXACTLY what Jesus tells us to do when another hits us. We must pray for them! Joe (the ex) showed such a compassion for God and a Faith that I had never seen! He actually sat there while this drunk, crazy woman was beating him! The Joe before Jesus was not the type to take it even from a woman this is how I know God has changed him. I will pray for them both, Norma and Joe. I will pray that Joe never stray from God and that somehow Norma finds it within her heart to turn to God. Norma's actions have taken her to jail. God's judgment is right and true.
Jesus is amazing! He can change anyone! He can take the cruelest hand and/or heart and turn them both into utensils of love and compassion! Turn to Jesus if you want to change! He is truly the God above all earthly god's!
His love is unfailing, His justice is so right, He catches every tear we cry, He holds us when we're alone, and He's our true friend when the world has turned against us. God is the almighty, the unfailing, just, honest, true. He's a father to the fatherless, a lifter of our heads, and comforter to the lonely. If your looking for a father, a friend you'll find it in Jesus. Just say the simple salvation prayer written in a separate blog and NEVER turn back. Find a church that suits you and learn of His great love! Learn of the miracles God can do for anyone who asks and believes in their hearts! For God will truly answer, it might not always be in the time WE want but He truly knows the time and the season for everything.
