Such a solemn stare with words unspoken
Lonesome eyes, hearts still broken
Looking away, thoughts of madness
Staring blankly, feelings of sadness
Hair rolls down across the face
Blocking her view, empty space
She cries secretly, you never see her tears
Nor one heart broken word will you ever hear
She lies face down on her bed
So many thoughts racing through her head
Holding her pillow, squeezing it tight
Face flooded with tears all through the night
Her hairs a mess, she gets up pacing
Letting go deep sighs, her minds still racing
Yet she’s always smiling, gleam in her eyes
Holding all her feelings, saving all her sighs
You hear her quiet laugh, you see her big smile
And yet behind closed doors, she’s pulling her hair all the while
Her emotions locked in a box, and she only has the key
She waits until late at night to unlock it and cry herself to sleep
Wakes up, make-ups smeared
Yet she’s already smiling, her eyes already cleared
Why does she do this each and everyday
Maybe because the words I love you she never hears you say
