Antarctic Devil's blog: "TAS"

Well I hasve been here on the continent now for 3 months and I have 3 weeks left before the ship arrives to take me back to Australia. This has been the most pleasurable and memorable experirnce of my life. I certainly would recommend a trip over here . or at least a flight here. I have been skiing on snow and ice where no man has ever been before and I get paid to do it. All those people that pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to ski the alps or Aspen or St Moritz ned their heads read. I ski here with 5 people and no one to bother us. We can place our skis anywhere we like and not bother about anyone taking them. We have areas where we can see the most spectacular ice cliffs and ice bergs, see penguins and seals and whales. This is truly one spectacular place to go to. I hope that I get the opportunity to come here againj.

Well here it is the new year and I have finally arrived at Casey Station Antarctica. It is not like I expected, it is much better. I have seen lots of seals, penguins and other wildlife. That includes the old expeditioners on their way home. I will be here til Mar and having a blast as well as working very hard. I will try and update often

Ok, I am 8 days from leaving the land down under to go to the great southern land of Antarctica. I will be spending 27 days on the ship and and then 4 months on the cold ice. I will be spending time doing stores work and also some jollies around the areas trying to see some of the sites. i will keep yous all updated with hopefully some pics

Well I am only two weeks away from entering into the greatest experience of my life. I will board the Aurora Australis for a 27 day trip to my new home of 4 months. I will be visiting the Chinese base and another australian base (Davis). I will be having my christmas onboard the ship with all the other expeditioners who are on their way south. I will eventually arrive just before New Years Eve which means a great party where I will imbibe a few beers I will keep posting blogs as often as I can to let you know what I am up to

Well here I am, a new cherry and I am about to pop it. I am placing my first cherry blog in and i have no idea what to write. Maybe i will let you know that I am trying to get a job in Antarctica for a few months. It will mean a nice stay in the cold for a few months and spend time away form the family, but the benefits i get from going down there outweight the loss of time with family and friends. Do not fear though as i will still be able to access this site and leave a few blogs Well thats it for my first i must rest as it took it out of me writing this one in. might even have a post pop smoke LOL
