1. When I make a sandwich, Im kind of particular about how everything is arranged. And when Im done, I always pat it several times before I eat it, always have, probably always will. I guess Im bonding with it, lol, I dunno.
2. I was a professional musician for years, yet I have not accumulated the first tattoo, and only one piercing.
3. Im an ocean baby. I have never lived more than an hour from the shore. I need its energy. I get withdrawal when I am away from water for long.
4. I tend to withdraw from people that are overly guarded or too mysterious. I try to tell myself they have their reasons, but most often I just see someone that is trying to hide their normality in order to appear more interesting, which is whats inevitably uncovered anyway.
5. I have a knack I inherited from my father about recognizing patterns in human behavior. Kind of a country shade tree psychologists thing, not smart by any means, just a habit of looking at where things derive from, and where they are going. Its entertainment sometimes.
6. My family & ppl in my small hometown thought I was a musical child prodigy. They were geared to spare no expense or support as long as they thought I was going to be the next country sensation or perhaps elvis. Then I discovered Zep, Aerosmith, Bad Co, Sabbath, VH, and inevitably Randy Rhoads. After that, the consensus was "dont waste your life beating on a guitar", and from then on, I was on my own. (feed your kids drive ppl!!)
7. I have an unnerving tendency of speaking in metaphors. I generally coin my own cliches out of nowhere. Its my way of hanging on to what I learned at that moment. Some think its really cool, others think Im really out there.
8. When I sign my name, I mimic the motion of writing at least a half a second before I contact the paper. It even pisses me off.
9. I have no problems separating open sexuality and everyday behavior from the same people, even in real life. If a friend had a few too many and decided to ride the mechanical bull naked last night, Im not gonna treat her any different tomorrow just because they stepped out of character for a moment. I will still ask how junior did on that test, or how their interview went, etc etc. I honestly dont understand the hangup or awkwardness some people mentally assign.
10. Im often an intuitive judge of others character, yet Im quite dense or oblivious when it comes to ascertaining what others think of me. Im not sure if I just wont give myself enough credit to believe they think highly, or if I have some subconscious quirk that makes me avoid being baited for amusement. Perhaps explains my appreciation of assertiveness.
11. My number one self loathing is my need for purpose. Almost every motivation I have is connected to a "what for". I have trouble doing something just to please myself. Its the most self destructive or at least neglective part of my character.
12. 12 because its Saint's lucky number, and she's lucky I filled this out. Or maybe Im lucky lol.
