I'm a professional web programmer and full time nerd. I try not to drag other people down with me unless they want it though =P.
I'm very independent, self-sufficient and I believe that making stuff is usually better than buying it. For example - I make my own beer and it works out pretty well.
I have a strong faith in God, but I'm not preachy or scary like some people can be.

Interests
This is a pretty broad field. I suppose some things that stick out - food, internet, beer (I make my own). If you wanna know, just ask.
Music
I play guitar and drums. Did it pro for about 8 years and I've played across the spectrum from jazz to metal to gospel to punk to prog rock - whatever. It's been fun, but that part of my life is mostly behind me.
I listen to what my mood tells me. Most of the time that's metal/epic, but I jump around into jazz, punk, hip-hop, classic rock, classical, *some* country (think johnny cash), industrial - all kinds of stuff.
Basically I REALLY can't stand pop and most other factory crap. I don't like listening to stuff that clearchannel is trying to ram down everyone's throat. Most country is ridiculously annoying, rap (not hip-hop) is ridiculous, and while I have an appreciation for reggae its not something I could ever get into.
Movies
I'm into anything Mel Brooks and Monty Python. I like action movies, the less thinking the better. During October I tend to watch a lot of crappy horror movies - I do a haunted house every year and I like to take inspiration from these.
I've given up on Star Wars and the LOTR trilogy was great to watch ONCE (too damn long).
Idols
My idols know who they are.
Video Games
I'm a gamer - into pretty much any and all (though I'm a bit worn out on fantasy games lately). Sci-Fi games have been holding my attention lately.
