...well, it's over. The Summer of 2007. Labor Day usually signifies the traditional end of summer and it's back to the school, work, and somewhat "regular" routine that everyone experiences at some level. Summer memories from every year from back when you were weee big up until basically you can't remember anymore really. A whole big "remember when....OMG...remember this year, this time..etc" thing comes into play and summertime is really the best and most memorable time of year for these things to happen. Special unique relationships are formed, summer flings & random things always tend to happen during these summer months. Things and memories you never forget as well as those who you spent them with. Whether it be a BBQ, trip to a theme park, beach, to watch a sunrise or sunset with that special someone, a bonfire, backyard or block party, drunk moments & parties, late night phone calls that you never want to end, or ones that end too soon... anything really. It is what it is and it always seems to happen. I feel like I'm repeating myself alot here already..lol. But you pretty much get the point. Sadly, most of the time, those moments and special things are left in the summer as reality and that whole grind kicks back in as the weather changes people and moods, and before you blink, the holidays are here. We can only wish that this doesn't happen but sometimes it just can't be helped..I saw Halloween decorations in Wal Mart 3 weeks ago, that in and of itself is disturbing, but that's another issue altogether.
...basically this one's simple. Here's to the Summer of 2007. May those special times, people and memories that we've all captured during these past three months of summer stay not only in your minds forever, but in your hearts as well. I know they will in mine. Hope all of my friends had a great Labor Day and and just think, only 57 days 'till Halloween! LOL...until next time...
