ok, I had to create another blog since I seem to be bitching about work. Now on to the tale from tonight...lol
First off we so freaking busy tonight that we got our asses handed to us!!! Since it was a Sunday our GM decided to screw us always and not schedule enough people, so of course we get a bus. I was in DT as always, but still tried to help out our front counter and grill people. Yes, I know I try to damn hard...lol Anyways, I had a guy come through and order like 30 bucks worth of food, including 30 nuggets. Now if anyone has ever worked at Micky D's you know that it takes 3 and a half minutes to make nuggets, and you only get 25 to a bag. Needless to say we had to make some so I had to ask the guy to pull forward. He did, but was an ass about it. Excuse me, if you don't want to be parked then come inside..or better yet...call in such a big order!!! That is possible you know!!! Ok, anyways, we take his food out to him, and he comes back inside. Evidently he decided that he wanted sauce for his nuggets even though he told me he didn't want any at the window...idiot. Ok, like I said we were busy, so he decided he was going to try to walk BEHIND our counter and help himself. Of course I was just comeing out of the DT hole and stopped him. Now keep in mind this guy was like 6'4" and I'm 5'3". He started screaming at me and took a step towards me. Naturally I took a step back so he took it upon himself to try and come behind the counter again. I swear we all thought he was gonna hit me...he was that aggresive! I told him he couldn't just walk behind the counter and he started yelling at me again, telling me we didn't give him his sauce and saying I should do something instead of just standing around. He also said if I moved around once in ahwhile I wouldn't be so Fing fat. I was like WTF?!?! Anyways, I just gave him his sauce to get him out of the store. Our front counter girl said she would have laid him out if he talked to her like that, a few customers who were in there said the same thing...lol They said we were human and didn't deserve to be treated like that. Of course I couldn't resist and said...don't you know?? We aren't humans anymore...we are nothing but fast food workers...lol Yes, it does sound weird, but when you work in fast food ppl don't think of you as people anymore but as servants or worse and hand no problem with taking out their horrid day on you. Fucked up yes, but it's true. I didn't realize how long this was, so I'm gonna stop now. I could actually go on forever on this topic, but I won't. If anyone actually reads and comments on this I will be EXTREMELY surprised...lol
