Here's the email I received.
Thank for your interest in the study on Hepatitis C study with patients.
We are looking for patients, based in the USA .
We are very interested to talk people who are living with Hepatitis C.
What we require of the patient:
Complete a self-completion diary (around 10 minutes in the evening each
day) for 7 days preceding the telephone interview.
1 telephone interview lasting 90 minutes moderated by an independent
market researcher.
The telephone interview will involve discussion with 2 other patients on
the topics as above.
Patients will be required to have their completed diaries to hand.
The incentives will be paid the day after the study (cheque of $200,-
sent to the mail address that they will provide).
I would like to remind you that the results of our studies are for
analytical purposes only and the confidentiality will be strictly
maintained. Our research is treated in accordance with ESOMAR and MRS
Code of Conduct.
What we would like to explore is their experiences with their condition and the challenges that they currently face. We'd also like to gain some feedback on what they think could be done to make taking their medication easier.
