I'm the one in your sweetest of dreams, Also the one in your worse nightmares. Sometimes you cry to me, Other times you run from me. I take you in my arms & hold you, Then I choke the life out of you. I look in your eyes & feel love, You look in mine only to see your death. I feel you reach out for me, Only for me to push you away & turn my back on you. You say you love me softly, Only for me to say, "I wish you were dead." As your dream comes to an end you wake, Only to realize it was me the whole time. I was my dream & you were a reflection... Of the other side of me. For I am my own sweet dream... But also my worse nightmare.

Look in my eyes, What do you see? Look deep in my soul, Do you see happiness? If you do... Then the jokes on you. I hide behind a mask, My life is one big masquerade. I play the role the best I can, Only for the role to change. I try to keep up with the changes, Only to fall on my face. I look to find an Angel to help me, But all I see is you reaching out for me. As I take your hand, you pull me close, I lay my head upon your chest... As you wrap your arms and wings around me. I hoped to find an Angel, But I found you instead. I never knew until I opened up, Until I opened my eyes, my heart, and my soul to you. That you were the one, My one true Angel.
