are fine, and this isn't "Policy" or a "rule" or anything, but I guess I'd prefer if they responded to the actual "status" they were a comment on. Especially inasmuch as they give neither you nor me any points, or anything like that - or is that why status comments are preferred? Out of asceticism? (Not to be confused with aesthetics.)
