This one is one I wrote a few years ago. To be in love is such a wonderful thing, it is like the entire universe making sense for a fleeting moment. It is a beautiful magic, that only a name could stain. It seems we like the idea of love, and we want to make love not war and have mottos of Peace, Love and Truth. Yet love doesn't always arrive in ways we expect or in ways we approve of. Love at the wrong time, love with the wrong person, love in the wrong season, is stained by the lable we apply to it. Words like Puppy Love, Lust, Adultry, Interracial, Mixed-Faith, Gay , December - June, and other words are used to describe love that doesn't fit the model we had laid out before us. Why can we not rejoice that people can feel that giddy dancing on air, permanent smile kind of love, and not try to make it something bad? Love is what happens while you were making other plans.... ( sorry for the paraphrase of John Lennon) I couldn't help it. lol
