Each fiber a moment of being. Each color an emotional hue.
Spun, twisted, wrapped upon the spindle. Tears glitter, lost
in the dark comfort of forbidden hearts. Pain flashes, brilliant
reflection of heated words. Memories fade, recolored from another's
view. Life spins onward, waiting to be woven in a tapestry.
Nubs, flubs, thinnings and thickenings, all add splendor to mundane.
Never the same, often lost in what seems important, gemmed treasures
reveal themselves when the time is past. Spun yarns gather into balls,
to be woven, knitted, created into something else. Strands cross,
loop, revealing more than first seen. Pattern emerges. Shadowed tones
promote hidden pleasures, and a new shawl has found itself created to
warm my being.
