[Spendgasm]

...

In three days I spent over 450$

How and why, and how?
And why???

Well, it was mostly coincidence, is it bad that I intend to spend MORE money tomorrow?

First there were the two limited edition MG 1/100 models I found

then I got dog food

and ALMOST bought a dremel but the last one available was the crap ass display model, and someone had already jacked some of the parts- so ... after reading the instructions and discovering the cockery, I said "I'm not buying this"

then I went furniture pricing, cuz ... my couch is shit.

... put it off another month. I saw some great ones in my price range though.

Then I bounded off to sam's club for my zombie preparation.
I bought a 25lb of long grain rice
for $9.00

...

I usually get 5 lb's for $11

All told I spent $150 at sam's
I now have a year's supply of over the counter drugs
about 4 months worth of pasta and crushed tomatos
a new pair of jeans that are identical to the ones I am wearing
an entire primal of beef
a block of frozen tuna
and a bushel of veggies

God damn I love bulk stores.
Kinda irked that they checked my member card 4 times.

Whatever.

Oh yeah- anyone need some porcinis? I got at least a murder's worth.

And chicken stock...
and garlic.

*sigh* so much gravy.

And on the way back home, I drove past the only non-members hardware store I hadn't been in yet. God damn
God fucking damn.
Talk about a dusty shitkicker old fart joint.

$40 full drill sets.
Jigsaws for $20.

...
an aircompressor with compatible air brush $79.99

...

...

one in stock and about an entire WALL of accessories and hoses and standalone compressors.

...

I grabbed the full kit because I would've spent that much on a compressor and another 50 on a brush. and endless horus of frustration finding the right hookups.

and another airbrush with quickslots for other colors (found out later that its the wrong size hose but I'll find a converter for it)

and this rad ass rambo knife.

I dunno why I got the rambo knife... probably cuz it was on sale and the compass itself was worth $5
the thing was 9 dollars and a solid hunk of saw toothed steel

I dunno, I just kinda had to have it
So often (like the case with the dremel and this airbrush) I'm willing to pay for the boxed piece of mind of compatible parts.

I would've bought that dremel today if I had that kinda assurance, and if I could find compatible 1 mm drillbits.

... I really need to order that shit off mechaskunk before he dissapears off the internet or something.

Tomorrow I'm gonna drop by ACE and see what kinda acrylic paints they carry.

I keep eyeing my SD Neieu Ziel, and all my other tiny generic suits.
I could use some practice before committing. I already pulled it out and assembled it and flipped her on. I'll need to ask about cleaning the parts and how to dillute the paint. This lil pony doesn't have much kick but I can run the brush almost constantly without the tank waiting to refill.
More than I need.
Yeah, I spent too much, too fast.
But all it really does is puts my couch down a couple months and takes several longtime wants off my list. I still intend to shop at my speciality store, but my dry goods are SET for the next several months. See that's what sucks about my deli, I could spend $9 on some tomato sauce or $5 on risotto rice, or I could load up at a grocery store once every month, or once every six months at a discount club. I'll still use my deli for my favorite things though, like their mustard, and tastey meatses.
But I still gotta bust out once in a while for long term investments or price breakers. $8 for a specialty jar of tomato sauce, or $3 for a restaurant size can of crushed tomatos and $2 for spices? $5.99 for 8 oz of dry porcinis or 5.99 for 32 oz of fresh? This bag of rice still blows my mind though. I had to haul it over my shoulder, and I practically ran away with it paying that price. If my deli had a full raw meat counter, like a full butcher shop (like the one I go to about once a month) I'd be all over it. I have a specialty order comin in though (eventually) and its gonna be magfuckingnificent.

With any luck I'll be over this cold by sunday, my "friend from work" hoped for that specifically. I did a little dance.
Made some awesome turkey meatball soup, and I have every intention of getting loaded on this discount jug of nyquil. I'll share it in a bit.

the soup recipe not the nyqul.
