Okk so heres the deal: I am a CNA at a nursing home. I usually work 2pm-10pm or 10am-10pm, but lately they've been having me come in at 6am and work until 6pm, or from 6am til 2pm then my regular shift. I am exhausted, the schedule ends on Saturday and so far in 2 weeks I have had 2 days off. I asked for overtime, but last time I worked this much I had a missacarriage... They are needing ward clerks in the hospital (connected to the nursing home) and are asking for applications. This would be a set 40 hours a week job.
The only problem is that I need the overtime right now, vacation is coming up in August and I need all the extra money I can get.
Should I stay at the nursing home as a CNA or Should I put in an application to work as a ward clerk? |
