Good Morning, I am thinking if this writers strike doesn’t end soon, some film makers will… Take for instance this one guy called Morgan Spurlock a film maker, from Park City, Utah.
PARK CITY, Utah -- Morgan Spurlock insists he really did set out to find the world's most elusive man.
In "Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?" the documentarian travels throughout the Middle East chatting in his playful and pointed way with religious leaders, activists, military personnel and everyday people.
After an outrageous opening sequence featuring an animated bin Laden dancing to MC Hammer's "You Can't Touch This," the film unfolds as a series of mostly subdued conversations about the war on terror, the reputation of the United States, and yes, the leader of al-Qaida. The movie, which premiered this week at the Sundance Film Festival, will be released by the Weinstein Co. in April. Ok here is the deal straight forward and to the point. If Bin Laden is alive and there are no safe counts that he is do you really think he would come out for a movie bit? Perhaps not. That would be like setting the worlds biggest mouse trap to catch a fly. Yeah not going to happen. Oh and just so Mr. Morgan Spurlock knows and the rest of the living world knows. Al-Qaida and their followers do like jokes about their religion. Just ask the New York Times and Time magazine about the death threats for showing a few cartoon images of said international terror king. I think Mr. Spurlock’s days are numbered, you know like the count down to Christmas Santa images that have the cute like numbered squares you change when the next day arrives. Or calendar how ever one counts down. I think Mr. Spurlock will be the next to see up-close and personally what those apposed to his comic views have in store for him. Aint it a great world? Aint is not a word right? Yeah just like Morgan Spurlock isn’t going to be a film maker soon enough. Well I have said my piece for one day and want to wish everyone a fine and outstanding weekend.
