I'm one of the dirty-fingernailed people. No, it's not a code word for anything. My fingernails really DO get dirty. I do not get them manicured (although I wouldn't turn it down once - just to try it out) - nor do I cut them fast enough. They're strong as.. um.. nails. Women are jealous of their strength. But they're dirty. I look at them right now - it's the only dirty part of me. I'm a clean guy, really. I'm not sexy. I'm not hot, nor cool. I wash. But the fingernails remain dirty. Why? I hope it's because of an absent minded professor kind of smarts. People say they feel smarter when I help them with a problem. I don't make them feel stupid. Computer on the blink? TV acting up? For some reason, people say, "Keeen!!! such-and-so-thing is BROKEN!' I come by, say, "Show me what's wrong". And... oops - suddenly, it works. Weird, to me. Must be stranger to them. Sometimes I do have to fix something. Wanna know the secret? Turn it off. Wait five seconds. Turn it on again. I'm not the first dirty-fingernailed smart seeming person around. But I'm the only one writing this message that nobody will read. Howz that, then?
