Har be the sichiation.
I have a band here. I have a lot of faith in this band and where it could go. I honestly believe that we could at least make a living on it. But any success we would have is at least a couple of years off (we JUST started and are still working out our "sound").
On the other hand, people are urging me (or at the very least suggesting) that I could make it in a larger market where either my degree in Visual Arts (which is entirely useless in BFE, SC) or my experience in technical theater would land me a decent job. I have family and/or friends in markets such as Chicago, Dallas, Vegas and Orlando - all of whom have offered to let me leech (or at least house me) until I get on my feet.
The question is, do I struggle here for the time being and do something I love or leave and persue something with a greater chance of success? |
