I've been invited out tonight to have a few drinks, daughter has been in the dumps for the past week but so far since yesterday she has been feeling better about things but tonight she might be back to the dumps again as she'll have to wait till monday to see her son again.

keep in mind that I am single and going out might mean meeting someone of the opposit sex

my question is should I go out and have these drinks or should I stay home with my daughter to help keep her mind off of things
