My Darling mother wants my children to go to her church's summer party today.
I personally don't want to go but my eldest wants to go.

There are a few reasons that I don't want to go. The major one is we have a load of errands to do before our outing on Sunday.

Should I rush around trying to finish all the errands and allow my sons to make an appearance?

or

Should I stick to my guns and say no - we have too much on our plate this weekend?
