He pushed the door of the restaurant open and stepped aside letting his wife stepped through, they just had their sixth annivarsery dinner laughing and smiling they walked through the parking lot arm and arm, heading to their car to retreat home for a long night of fun and laughs and cuddling. It wasn't until they got close to their car that the husband noticed something, a man in a ski mask coming toward them his first instinct was to step infront of her blocking the man. "give me everything and no one gets hurt" the man held up a gun and the husband reached for his wallet handing it to the man to keep his wife safe, his wife was fumbling with her purse pissing the gunman off "whats taking so long give me the purse" he reached out toward the wife and the husband grabbed him wrestling with hima nd the gun. The gun fired and they both stopped the husband looking back to his wife holding her stomach and slowly falling backward, the husband let go of the man and ran to his wife as the gunman grabbed her purse and his wallet and took off the husband lifted his wife from the ground and held her in his arms as he pulled out his cellphone. a man came rushing out of the restaurant calling to them "the ambulance is on the way we jsut called 911!" the husband dropepd the phone and just held his wife close to him tears streaming down his face "hold on baby their on there way their gonna take care of you" panic had already begun to fill his voice as his wifes hand slowly came up to caress his face her words were soft and almost sounded as nothing even happened "Hunny....everythings gonna be alright...if they get here they get here if they dont...then lets just spend this last moment in peace" the man just looked down to his wife as she wiped a tear away "But....But i cant lose you...we have so much to do together" His wife jsut smiled to him and ran a finger down his cheek and stopped it on his lips "Darling...please don't focus on what we haven't done but cherish the things we were able to accomplish together...now please jsut kiss me..." He gave his wife a nod and slowly leaned down and pressed his lips to hers holding them there a moment before pulling away. Sirens began to be heard and he looked up to the street smiling "Baby do you hear that? their coming" but when he looked down his wifes eyes were closed and she was still.
