My hopes were shattered,

My dreams lost,

Now there's nothing but a world of emptiness,

Black is all I see,

Cold is all I feel,

No warmth to warm my heart,

No beauty for my eyes to see,

When you left I was left with nothing,

Broken as my heart is I try to see,

What life there is left for me,

You were my heart and soul,

My soulmate to the end,

Now I sit in darkness wishing my life would end,

Pain and misery are all I find,

In this pitiful life of mine,

True love and happiness never to see,

My life is undone without you with me
