Thanksgiving Memories...
What are you most fond of?
For me, it wasn't the "Family" gatherings, because we didn't have those. Being a Filipino family not raised in any single tradition, we didn't have the normal holiday celebrations..lol OK, maybe it was just "my" dysfunctional family..
My BEST Holidays came after I moved out and was on my own.
In my early to mid 20's my Best Friend and I would make a ham and a turkey and all the trimmings and host buffet type gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas for all our Military friends who couldn't make it home for the holidays. It was good times with good food and good friends.
Today, I am spending it alone without friends or family since they have other plans and I am working.
So take a moment if you have the time to share your fondest memory to date, thanks for for reading!
