Late one night
In a moonlight clearing
Looking for a love
She found so dearing
She stripped her clothes
And watched for her lover
Never to return
For he knew it was over
Seeking his home
In the forest deep
He wished for nothing other than sleep
Seeing her there her innocence revealed
He must stay in the shadows
He must stay concealed
He looked over her body
Then frowned and turned away
For this one love
Would never stay
Feeling a gaze
upon her chest
She arose with a quickness
And looked upon her quest
She watched his back
Drift into the dark
She then sat down
And cried with a broken heart
She prayed into the night
And what she prayed for
Well she prayed for Mr. Right
Her prayers were lost on a southern wind
For ever man knew
And none would come within
Her seductions were known for miles around
And few men would be embound
With a heart so cold
Yet a body so pure
She thought none could resist
Of this she was sure
But one had done it
This shadow of the deep
He walked away
And got a restful sleep.
