This is a poem I wrote about two years ago..
Seven Silent Tears
Last night as I went to bed,
Thoughts of you appeared in my head.
Although I've not cried this way in years,
On to my pillow fell seven silent tears.
The first one came as a vision of your smile,
it carries with it the innocence of a child.
The second fell from the thought of your lips,
That I wish I had just one more chance to kiss.
The third tear fell as no surprise,
As I thought of the beauty and warmth in your eyes.
The fourth came rolling down my cheek,
As I realized losing you has made me so weak.
The fifth tear fell from my face,
As I thought of the strength of your embrace.
The sixth tear came as I rose from my bed,
As I thought of all the bad decisions and where they have led.
I'm still in love with you and I miss you so dear,
Because of that fell my seventh silent tear.
