Sooo I get a friend request out of the blue. A 25 Year old Female. No message, nothing.
"Her" Profile image is...
I figure, right on... a teacher. I add and check this person out and I see photoshopped pics of the same chick over different model bodys and *very* poorly done. All face pics are in profile and repeated. I am thinking this had got to be a joke. I click through and I see things like flowers (which I can only assume somone sent "her") and pics of some dude that might be a boyfriend... as it has the MO of it... cheesey image generator protrats etc. Now in this folder of pics of the same chick's face plastered over modeling pics with totally different coloration, lighting, and tone.. there is a pic that appears 2x... reversed-out mirroring one another. I can only assume it is there as "tell" whom might be the real person behind the profile.
Needless to say... blocked softly after. And the world is none the wiser... people are strange.
Well my friends it is that time of the year again, time for Holiday stress, holiday shopping and all of the good and bad things that the holidays bring upon us. It’s a time where seemingly every year that you always remember things that happen during the holidays, making for a lifetime of memories.
In Fubar World, it’s pretty much the same. You see Xmas Auctions, holiday bling pack specials, everyone it seems with a Santa hat of some variety on for the weeks leading up to the holidays. and in past years, have a present of some variety under your Xmas tree when you sign in, which you can’t open until Midnight 12/25 Pacific Time. When I lived on the east coast that amounted to 3 AM. Needless to say. There were some funny milk and cookies moments there.
This year, we have a new twist , this NSFW crackdown policy for default pictures that was put in around Thanksgiving. Which basically said you can’t be in your underwear or slam you boobs into your default picture. Some people are complaining about it, just like anything else around here that changes. But for the most part people were happy with the change. Personally, I am too. Why you ask?
First of all, it will dramatically cut down on the fakes. How do you ask? Tell me what 99.9% of amateur porn is, other than the raw nsfw and hardcore? Girls in their underwear with boobs slammed into your screen! Now since that cannot be used as a default, the attention these tended to get will be basically removed. If you see a default of Raven Riley or Next Door Nikki’s face, You’re going to know who it is. Will there still be fakes? Of course. But they can be much better attended to now, as in this digital age, there is absolutely no excuse to be able to post a verified salute if you are what your profile claims to be.

Some of the most recent excuses I’ve heard for people not having salutes are:
“ I got into a car accident and broke my jaw and it’s swollen”
This one’s funny because the “broken jaw” chick posted pics dated one day before on its’ page. Really?
“ I don’t have a cam or its’ broken”
Really? See statement above. That same profile uploaded mobile web cam photos 6 hours ago that were downloaded from a porn site.
“ I am the porn star featured , it wouldn’t be fair to post a salute because of my online fans”
At the time it was messaging someone this, her status said in some connotation, with two blasts running mind you, no lie “ Looking for the new bling, a vip and new friends and fans.”
Bottom line is this: Don’t believe what lies are spewed from fake profiles with no salutes but plenty of time for excuses. You do realize that most of the drone and fake accounts you see all the time are actually members here with real profiles. They know the game, know it well and try to use for page to get bling, transfer fubucks. Etc... Also they use them to spy on you. They do, it’s stick but they do. My personal favorite is dudes who have a top friends and family list loaded with girls from the Top 20 of Maxim or some European social site that no one has ever heard of. Most with no salutes of course. They do it to play a mind game on the real women they are trying to pursue by attempting to make them think “ if they see all of my hot family they will wonder what they are missing out on.” Some of the lower levels of people even make their fakes talk and leave adoring comments on their pages as well. And it isn’t just men that do this, it’s women too. But to a lesser scale. Pathetic much? That bring me to my next short story.
There’s a girl on here, quite popular based on the numbers, who looks absolutely nothing like the default pictures she posts on here, must spend at least 4 hours getting ready for each picture session. Based on what you see, you would think that she was a hot 22 year old emo girl. When in reality she is far, far from that. There are questions to whether even it’s her or her little sister in all of the pictures it’s that ridiculous. Being insecure is one thing. Not a crime. But you see this person doesn’t quite stop there you see. It’s not about numbers with this one, it’s about trying to find someone of some variety. She always follows the same patterns, almost three years running now. She tries to buy and move in on other women’s boyfriends and relationships on here constantly. Using his image of the “hot emo chick.”
Dudes are dudes and will do what they do. If the dude you are with carries on with this, Fu marries this and does not address the issue when it is presented, you have to also hold the dude responsible and do what’s in your own best interest. Because what will happen is if , heaven help us, that he meets her and sees what she really is, the first phone call he will make will be to you. And and that point, you know where you stand and it’s better to let it go to voicemail. Forever.
It’s so extreme that people have wanted me to blog it. Eh, the personal insecure humiliation thing isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but rest assured this group of females will not hesitate to post the real pictures of her for that purpose. I won’t blame them one bit if they do, as Fubar needs to see this one for what it really is. Enough is enough. Some people’s chickens take longer to come home to roost than others.
Some people I’m enjoying seeing getting served by the new policy are all fake profiles, the 47 year old woman who hid her face behind a skinny body with unique angle pics to hide it, including glasses and tethered hair, the cancer victim ( I doubt it but) who spends an awful lot of time on Fubar posting ridiculous shots with glasses on with boob = camera mentality ( I don’t’get your that healthy if your that sick, maybe she needs a VIP or something, call me crazy) and there are others but that’s neither here nor there. Reality sucks doesn’t it? The daily ranks once this filters through in a few weeks will tell the real story. Are there victims that don’t feel they deserve the flagging due to this? Of course. But those who are clever & deserving will rise above it. Let‘s focus more on who we are and how we interact and less on what we want to pretend to be on a website called Fubar.com…
And of course on a personal note, some of you may or may not have seen the relentless personal 4th grade level attacks I have received on a certain e-zine. No matter how many big words & phrases this Fubar 2009 Rookie of the Year ( my nickname for him as he is purely ignorant , misguided and no idea what he speaks of) and the clinically mentally ill who have taken to his side, obsessing over what I do with my profile as well as a few others on my list that have removed him because they’ve seen the truth and made their own choices , rather than having a choice thrust upon them. I don’t do that to people. I let them see for themselves how this kind are and their ilk and they usually do what they feel is best. If getting off on hate and 4th grade slander is your thing, so be it. I could say how his real life wife that he hides from Fubar is an alkie, cheats on him and beats him. That would kind of kill your coffee-shop cool bravado now wouldn’t it? For the mentally ill pack that stroll the mumms and must have auto refresh on my page so they know exactly what I’m doing at all times, those that could tell you when I did what and how, even if I wasn’t signed on for weeks and didn’t post anything for months. I could also post your profile link, tell people what medication you are on, when you were last institutionalized and what for. Don’t think I can’t for one minute. I don’t do these things because they are none of anyone’s business. And it would also be a blight to those who truly struggle with real mental illness but handle it far better. Judge people by how they respect you personally and your friends and you’ll be better off for it. Recently, this goon disrespected one of my closest friends and her relationship. Out of jealousy of course because his own is a failure. People need to see this one for what he is because I’m starting to see him leech on to other people’s statuses so I’m going to address him his sick new friends and his ill-fated poetic speaking at some point in the future. The best part about that will be it will be pure screenshots and I won’t have to type a word to make them look like the fools they are. It’s that ridiculous.
And to them do you know what I have to say? Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a better New Year. It doesn’t phase me what people say because I laugh at it and the ignorance behind the keystrokes and so much more. But if you see this going on with your friends as well, that’s the best advice I can give. See things for what people put out there, that type of person can turn on you in a second - and the end result for these is a predictable one. As I’ve said oh so many times…

As far as your friend whom was "disrespected" in her relationship... she chose to fly off the handle and in doing so revealed her true nature. Her comments were far-telling. Def someone not deserving of my company. They made comments towards my relationship, which I find laughable... Understand that in my life, nothing is part-time. They have a long ways to mature before they could hope to reach my level. To whom do you wake up to in the morning??? Tell me about your failed past... I'd love to pass a judgment or two. Then again.... fubar is the dating-pool. That is telling in itself.

Your wit is lacking... but you make up for that with the adoration of people equally out of touch as you. At least you spent the time.
