September 11th 2010

Ladies and gentlemen, on this the ninth anniversary of one of the most horrendous days inAmerican history, I urge every person of every faith to shuck the chains of organizedreligion, to instead of saying that we are Christians, Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, Ect.To start living by the teachings of your chosen prophet, to love and except, rather thanhate, kill, and abuse in the name of a god that wouldn’t ask for that ever. Not to rape, notto kill, not to steal these are all actions that are deplorable in every faith, so why can’t wecoexist if we all share the planet in which we all have no choice but to live on. Yes thereare actions of solitary organizers that claim that which ever god you subscribe to, talk tothem and tell them that these atrocities are necessary for the further of their selectedreligion, when actually it does nothing to further your cause or anyone else’s for thatmatter. I ask you to open your eyes and stop following these people who teach intoleranceand hate, if you are a spiritual person, take the time to read the literature of otherreligions, do not leave them up to someone else’s interpretation, open your eyes to theflaws and manipulations of the mass media, do not take it so personally if someone doesnot worship the same god you do, just know that there are extremists everywhere andthese are the ones that make atrocities happen. As my grandmother would say “ a couplebad apples will spoil the bunch” and I’m not sure who originally said it but I’m not surethey understand how that simple statement would have such an impact on the world. Theissues that I have been watching on the news channels are whether they should build amosque near where the world trade center stood, and whether a pastor in Florida has theconstitutional right to burn the Qur’an today on the ninth anniversary of the attack on theworld trade center September 11th 2001. I will address both, first will be the mosque, thepurpose of the mosques location is to bring all religions of New York and the rest of theUnited States to show that not all Muslims are not like the cowards and extremists thatplanned the attacks, to maybe even sway Muslims who come to that part of the Qur’anwhere it says to kill “infidels” and to come here to talk to the Muslim leaders there at themosque, so these leaders can lead their flocks that this perversion of Islam are not theteachings of Ala. Now I turn my focus to Pastor Terry Jones, the Florida pastor that statedthat 9/11 should be a annual burn a Qur’an day in the United States, the ignorance of thisman should be blatantly obvious by the fact he didn’t even spell the word Qur’an right, hespelled it Koran , which now even makes me giggle because I am writing this article inMicrosoft Works Word Processor and it also is under the impression that this is thecorrect spelling, so yes my loyal readers it just goes to show that ignorance is everywhere.I digress, yes Pastor Jones you have the right to worship any god you choose, but keep inmind the god that you have chosen would be very upset by the actions that you havechosen for you and your followers. Breaking news about Pastor Jones I have just hear onMSNABC that he has decided not to burn the Qur’an not today and not ever, this actionon his part is a sigh of relief for many people who classify themselves as Christians. Jesusteaches acceptance and love of any person of any faith, even if they do not share the samegod, Ala has the same message of love and tolerance. There is a part in the Qur’an thatsays to kill “infidels” at the time Ala was referring to the people invading his lands not tokill anyone who doesn’t believe in the same god that he did. A friend of mine remindedme of a man by the name of Charles “the hammer” Martel who lived from 688ad - 747adand he got his name by halting a Northwestern invasion of Muslim armies into WesternEurope, both of these men have the same view points on different sides of the coin, and Ido not feel that either are wrong, for protecting there lands and people, but it is the 21stcentury and both of these men’s view points should not be applicable in a society thatsuch scare tactic should not even be given validity. In the time in which both of these menlived most of society couldn’t even read so they had to go to whatever religious buildingto hear the teachings of the prophet of your choice, and also if they could read mostwould be killed for reading other religious texts, this is not the case in America we havethe opportunity to do such and we should do such just to gain a better understanding ofthe other religions around us, and maybe just maybe if we all did this we could see thatthe religions of the world are not so different that we cannot coexist, and only at thatpoint can we as not only a country but as a unified world live in a place we can be proudof, one we can pass on to our children.
