Here's my poem and some of my thoughts for the season...
CHRISTMAS
Christmas time is near
Full of love and great cheer
Time for faith, hope and love
To share with those who are dear
What does Christmas mean?
It's all about giving.
Here is the sad part...
Many have stopped believing.
Businesses, the rich,
and all the like are lost.
So tied up with wealth,
Their hearts have turned to frost.
But there are some few
In this world filled with love
For strangers and friends
And also for God above.
My message is this...
Let's pray for all of those...
The homeless, needy,
and lost to keep Christmas close.
And one final thing...
Let's keep Christmas in our hearts...
Not for one day, but always!
Whether we're close or far apart.
