Boats's blog: "Searchin for folks"

This is just kin of a addition to the first entry on this Navy subject. I would like to remeet any of my shipmates from 1st Div USS Horne DLG-30 from the years 1970-1974. The Chief Bosun was BMCS Fox who now lives in Fla down in the Titusville area and have found Mike Shenaman, Lou Foraker, Johnny Santiago Martinez, Charlie Abshire, Dan Applegate, Spot, the last 2 were snipes. Anyhow thats all I can think about right now so if anyone has any info on these guys I would be grateful to get it from you. Thanks

WEll no one seems to know who the last person was or is so lets see if anyone knows a feoow or two that I was aboard ship with in the early 70's. Try a guy by the name of Doug Lyons last known to be in the Corpus Christi Tx area was a neat and freindly guy in the service should be in his middle 50's or so around now if he is still alive. Anybody know of this guy let him know someone is lookin for him. Thanks

Dont know if anyone will have a clue about any of these folks but you can never tell. While I was growing up my family lived in Ramstein AFB and a bunch of people I met there I have lost contact with and would very much like to find or at least get a chance to talk with 'em. This would be for folks that lived in Ramstein from about 1960-1964, off the top of my head I can tink of "Babs Burke" Barbara whose Dad was stationed to Alaska during this time. If ayone knows someone that fits this description I would really like to talk to this woman. thanks Boats "S L Johnson"
