Today was my daughters field day at school so I thought I'd play hookie from work and join her for some fun. Now I always knew I was a bit redneck and I always knew I lived in a hick town but I really never knew how redneck it was til today. Yes I follow tractors to work every day. Yes I am lucky if I see five passenger vehicle drive by my house in a day and if I do the majority are road drinkin. Yes I eat my weaties to the wonderful smell of manure. Ok losing scope here sorry. So I am at the school field day and I learn that the school song is International Harvester by Craig Morgan. Here I was watching an entire student body of elementary kids belting out this tune with as much pride and volume as one could expect. It was great. After the kids rallied to their theme song we enjoyed watchin the kids smash the teachers and staff with creme pies, tug of war and the biggest water balloon fight I have ever participated in. Oh yeah food, I love my food, there was so much good food. I knew I liked this school. One could not pay enough money to have such a tight close knit enviroment to raise their kids.
