Welcome to my id!

I often find myself involved with smart complicated women. (I consider this a GOOD thing. In case you were wondering...) I'm experienced in both atypical self-defined types of relationships [escapade, open, multiple, *very* multiple , handyman, light bondage, live-in baby-sitter, chaotic neutral catalyst, strange attractor, ad hoc sex therapist, hide the shoehorn inna corner...]; as well as the more mundane socially acceptable kinds .

I am sex-positive, open-minded, regularly tested, utterly het).

I don't believe in "ideal" people. Prince Charming and those guys are *fairy tales*. Everyone is unique, everyone has flaws; and, very often, humans beings are worth knowing as much for their flaws and imperfections as for those qualities which it might be easier to admire. It takes all of these things to make us who we are. Every REAL person brings their own mix of unexpected indefinables to the table, and deserves to be considered "as is", instead of against some perfect ideal.

And then, of course, there's the unpredictable "chemistry" random factor, which can either keep apart people who seem to be a perfect match on paper, or draw together people who otherwise may have nothing in common at all.)

As for me: I am just your basic retro model 420-lovin' not-entirely-ex hippie/freelance evolutionary intelligence agent kinda guy, with more in common with counterculture types than the mainstream. Jeans & flannel shirt, comfortable chaos, hoping to keep a sense of humor despite all evidence...

All worshippers of Herr Twitler, please--this way to the egress....

All others: Call me Sam.

I am your basic not-entirely-ex hippie guy who finds more in common with sub&countercultures than the mainstream.^^I've had experience in various alt relationships[escapade/open/multiple/poly/light bondage/ livein babysitter/chaotic neutral catalyst/strange attractor/ad hoc sex therapist/hide the shoehorn inna corner...]as well as more mundane kinds[5 yrs of marriage/several luminous friendships(with&without benefits)with various remarkable women].(I tend to find myself involved with smart complicated women(never an *entirely* unmixed blessing!).The most amazing partners I've had have been bi women.(Any thoughts on why that might be?)

---------------------------------------------------------

TURNONS: Willing flesh, a lively mind, a shining heart, intelligence, creativity, kindness, empathy, beauty, skill, independence, an open mind, liveliness, passion, lack of inhibition & anyone who can say something interesting about anything. (I should maybe want to know someone dull unattractive mean rigid inarticulate clingy & passionless?)

TURNOFFS: Empathic indifference, bigotry, scorn [as opposed to witty sarcasm], willful ignorance, a curdled soul, blithe cultural chauvinism, possessive jealousy, skindeep depth, mindless rigidity, lack of self-respect & habitual manipulativeness.

  • SamThoth Hello to Fubarites and Fubarians one and all! Been gone for a while. Not sure how back. I really can be just now, either--but I thought I'd stick a little toe back in and see how it goes. Gonna take it slow. (Already feeling a bit whelmed...) Be gentle with me? --Sam
