Hi, my name is Dana and I am a 37 year old married disabled female from Ohio. I have been married for 13 years but together for 15 years now and we have a 9 year old son together. Four years into the relationship I had a miscarriage. I was appoximately 4-5 weeks along at that point. Thank God 4-5 months later I found out I was pregnant with the son we have now. I was born with the disability called Spina Bifida which is just a fancy name for open spine. I have had over 70 surgeries in my life time all related to my disability. I had so many problems when I was born that the doctors didn't think I would live past a year of life. I had severe club feet which means that my feet were turned in. So I had to have many surgeries on my legs and feet and hips to correct that problem. I have even been in body cast a few times when I was little due to this as well.
