I'm not able to handle being heart broken anymore. Those of you who know me and know what's been going on between myself and someone else in here know that my heart's been broken in too many ways that I can't even begin to explain what each piece would have meant to me had they not fallen apart. knowing that i'm not in the 'lounge' as much as he is, it's better i step back and let him bring in more entertainment to the room than i ever could. he's more attractive than i am and is a dj on top of that. he doesn't have to hide his cam when he's on it, but i do with mine. it's pathetic, but it's my life for now. until then, i'm leaving this up for a few days to let everyone else know that i will be leaving here within the next week or two. i'm so glad to have made so many good friends and have gone through some good and interesting times with so many of you. however, i can't stand to be in a place where my heart has been hurt. i can't come back here...it's too much of a reminder

Hate is a strong word that a fair amount of people tend to avoid during their daily life. Why? It's an absolute, and nobody likes absolutes. Absolutes always preface a long, written out dissertation in explanation. With that out of the way.....I graded papers this weekend. I wanted to cry. I hate people that only write with text messaging lingo. I don't care if somebody uses "ur" instead of "you're" when they are messaging somebody, but if that person uses "ur" in a formal paper, I get frustrated. This has nothing to do with writing elitism or anything like that-it's a simple matter of writing properly in a world where proper writing is a cornerstone of learning. I don't ever remember my preschool teacher looking at me and saying "LOL, you can use 'k' instead of 'okay.' l8ter." This writing ailment isn't confined to a single group, either. I can honestly say I've seen articles from every grade level that has had one of these errors, so don't pretend to be above this

Updating All My Tags / Pics
Hey everyone, I just wanted to update everyone. I'm adding watermarks to all of my tags. Some ass wipe felt the need to steal my pics, remove the border and CommentFox.com from the tags and post them on Photobucket. Why? I have no idea why. I think it's pretty low that someone would feel the need to do that for content which I make freely available to everyone. So in an effort to reduce theft of my time and efforts. I'm resorting to adding water marks to all my tags so in the event the border and CommentFox.com are removed from these updated tags. There'll still be evidence of the source. Update On Rob/more Rantings
Rob was induced into a coma earlier this morning. His heart rate was still very erratic and he was still very shaky. He had crashed several times during the course of the day yesterday and we all feel that this is the best thing for him. His body needs to heal itself. It was confirmed that an overabundance of stress along with the effects of the stroke he had and the heart condition that was discovered after his surgery in December are the causes of what happened to him two nights ago. Hopefully in a matter of time he will wake up and be okay, but for now he is sleeping, he is comfortable and he is at peace. Before the doctors put him under, I was talking with him. It’s no secret how upset I have been, and to some degree still am. Rob reassured me that everything was going to be okay. He said that all these events were supposed to happen and he accepts what has happened to him and whatever fate he has in store for him, no matter if it’s life or death. He also asked me to let

Hospital - Take Two!
Arrrgggghhhh, received a letter from the hospital yesterday giving me another appointment! Rang up to find out why as I'd been given the all clear. They look it up and advised that a report was sent off following my ultra sound and mammogram and that maybe I'm being called in to discuss it and that I should attend. Hmmmm, sure nothing to worry about but odd don't you think as they said that I was ok.... Anyway, that's the latest update lol - I go to the hospital late next week.

Not To Sound Too Melodramatic Or Anything...
I was diagnosed with lupus (SLE) in March of this year. I'm 24, I've never had any major illnesses in my life... I had a crappy immune system, but I think part of that is growing up where I did, being so close to a bunch of major chemical factories (Cleburne, Midlothian, Commanche...). I never got majorly sick though... until earlier this year. Lupus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease. There's no cure. It can affect your whole body (mine does) or just specific organs. I go ditzy... they call it brain fog. I get tired walking from my desk at work to my car. I sleep like 16 hours a day now. I eat like I've never seen food before, but I still can't gain much weight. I'm sore all over my body. My joints keep swelling up, making it hard for me to function like a normal person... but the absolute worst is knowing that you have to deal with this for the rest of your life. I'll have to live with knowing that I can't have another child... knowing that this pain that I'm in will come back.

OK so most of you know ,but not all of you know this ,but I am goin into the hospital tomorrow morning at 6 am central time an i'm having surgery on my right heal due to an open sore thats infected because of a bone spur.. Fire
I decided to burn my clay thingies I made in an oven, and set the temp to 247 degs as always. Sudeenly I smell an odd smell, and walk into the kitchen to see the oven ON FIRE, and this acrid chemical smoke fillin the kitchen. FUCK!!!! Computer Problems, A Note To All
To All My Fubar Friends & Family, Hi everyone, I wanted to tell you what's going on if I happen to be off line for a few days. My laptop is completely screwed up, the screen is broken I think. The comp works I'm on it now but I can't see the screen at all. Their is a button that hit's the top part of the lap top when it's in the down right position, it ensures the the screen is completely off when the lap top is closed. When The lap top is up I can press the little button and the screen will appear for about 3-5 seconds. That's how I'm using the comp now, it's like doing everything in the dark. I click the lil button to make sure the mouse it at the right place and stuff but other then that I can't see anything. I was told it might now be the LCD display, it might be a switchboard that's not giving power like it should. If anyone has any suggestions as to what it might be please leave a comment here for me. Those who know me, know part of who I am and why I am the way I am. Those who don't...this will provide some insight. I live my life with purpose. I try to inspire others and guide them to realize that life is too short. I grew up a "delinquint" thanks to my childhood being shattered at an early age. I had a baby at age 16 after I was sexually assaulted. My son, Justin, was born at 30 wks premature and the docs gave him a year to live. Well my angel made it to almost 4 yrs old. I was out to sea in the Navy when I got the dreaded call that my baby boy had died in his sleep. I thought I had built a strong enough wall around my heart at that point, but that message from my parents and the Red Cross that day shattered those walls quicker than the Berlin Wall falling. I was put on suicide watch for a week until I could get home. I found out after the autoposy was done that tho he was almost 4 yrs old, his lungs were the size of a 1 yr old baby so he could not get enough air into his lung

For those of you in college, or that were in college... Remember the end of the year? The time of year that the class is done and over with. To make things better, you can sell your books for some extra cash and be able to get yourself something nice to celebrate. Good times, right? So far, there are no good times for me. I've tried selling a grip of my books, and I couldn't because there are new editions coming out. Bunch of crap! Some of these books cost a good amount of money, too. It's the worst when the bookstore twists your arm because there are no used books for the kind you want, and you have to buy a new one. Not just a new one, but an expensive one. So I was talkin to my mom about names and crap like that, and how they came up with mine. Turns out that I didn't have a name for almost a month after I was born. And when my parents DID come up with a name- they picked the most common one in Russia that they could. Gramps suggested Alisa, but that was taken out fast. Future Considerations
It is no doubt fun to make new friends. We all flirt with them here it seems. As always though, when the newness dies, and others come into focus will we fail to maintain our ties? I suppose it is inevitable that FUBAR should have a fairly healthy community of geeks. Hell, I'm pretty much a geek myself. Been Fun, But I'm Gone....
I came here looking for something to fill my lonely time... I have definitely found something, but it hasn't filled the void. I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all my friends I have made on here. Last night I was overwhelmed with all the love you showed me and leveled me. I chatted with a few to tell you what was going on but I felt the need to share with the rest so you did not think I was not appreciative of your actions. Back in March my dad passed away at the age of 68 and on that last day I was there with him and my mom and brother for 8 horrible hours watching him die and it was possibly the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. My uncle has been in the hospital for the past year fighting cancer and sunday my mom asked me to take her to see him, she did not want to go by herself, when we got there and I walked in that room I relived the horror of watching my dad all over again. It had the same reaction on my mom which is heartbreaking to see. My parents were married for 49 years and together for 53. I got word yesterday that my uncle died and to be honest it was

My Daughter...
Usually I can handle things pretty well, but some days are harder than others. This day being one of them. It was 24 years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. well i decided to change my school schedule for the fall.. instead of working 32 (minimum) hours and only taking 2 classes at school.. I am going to work 32 minimum hours and take 5 classes... Mon Wed and Fri Geology 10:00am-10:50am (wheres dio?) Math 11:00am-11:50am Wed only history 5:25pm-8:05pm (louisiana) Tues and Thurs English 10:50am-12:05pm (advanced grammar) Math 12:15pm-1:05pm (remedial) Geography 1:40pm-2:55pm (yay..) Tonight, I found Celinia's old livejournal (for those keeping score and not in the know, Celinia was my last serious girlfriend. The Day Hell Froze Over...
So thanks to a certain someone who decided to start running in the mornings...I said "What the hell?" So yesterday I was seriously lacking in motivation for running, but I did find time to go to the store and get ingredients for waffles. My Hair
I have had a love/hate relationship with my hair since I became a teenager. (I think all girls do) Some days it does so wonderful. No fly aways, straightens perfect, ahh the joys of a good hair day. [Begin rant] Ok. So. I have basic cable in my apartment for "free". Well I paid a lot of money for a flat panel HDTV and the analog cable channels look shitty. So I went to the cable company today, and spent an hour, getting an HDTV converter box thingy. I brought it home and hooked it up. No channels. I called the phone number and he told me to unplug it for 15 seconds and it would reboot. Well I had to leave for dinner. When I came home I expected channels. Yes.... Still In The Hospital
Hello everyone... to answer all the questions, yes, I am still in the hospital. Mostly here for some tests and overnight observations. There is no diagnosis and it is very frustrating. It seems to be an issue with my vascular system. But, nobody knows what at this point. I might be having some transfusions soon. I know that I had sepsis earlier this year and was hospitalized for that for a week. It could be a rebound of that but is not going away with any antibiotics. It is very frustrating to be here believe me. And my poor husband is very frustrated too. I am hoping that with the time I have been having in here that I would have some inspiration to write some stories but there just is no inspiration to write at all. Why is it that some people assume that women in an abusive relationship or have been in one think that the women can just get out when they want to. and say ohhhhhh you dont have to put up with that crap. Very Productive
I was very productive tonight. First I made dinner. Nothing extravagant, but it was yummy. I also baked some cookies while I was cooking dinner. They are absolutely delicious. Then I decided I wanted to rearrange my kitchen some. So I moved the liquor into my mini fridge and put my toaster, george forman, and tea maker on the counter top. I'm not sure if I like it yet. It looks kinda cluttered. But I was getting tired of pulling them out of the cabinet almost every day. So then I put up the clean dishes from the dishwasher. I put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher after that. After all the that I cleaned up the sink and the counter tops. Then I remembered there was jello in the fridge that needed to be thrown away. Coming Home Soon
I am still in the hospital but should be getting discharged sometime within the next couple of days. The doctors have told me that if I maintain the blood counts for the next few days as I have over the past few days I can go home. But, still there is no idea what is wrong with me. Just weeks of tests and all kinds of medications to give me over the past six plus weeks. I have been able to answer some of the messages that have been sent to me over the past few weeks because I found out that the hospital is a wi-fi hot spot for the nurses and doctors for their PDAs and their laptops. My 38th Birthday
My 38th birthday was spent almost entirely on Fubar Midnight Sat Aug. 16th, 2008, to Midnight Sun Aug. 17th, 2008 with a few hours of sleep and an hour or 2 away from the computer and I don't regret it one single bit. Loss Of Food
My daughter went to put some frozen orange juice into the freezer for me yesterday afternoon.....I never checked it after and this morning I went to get waffles for the girls for breakfast and realized that the freezer door was not closed.....Everything was completely thawed out. There was over hundred dollars of food in there :( Don't get me wrong, I know things could have been worse, it just is another set back and hard for me to keep dealing with these negative things happening...I just wish positive things would happen for me...

Taking A Fu-cation!

Just as with my last pregnancy, this one has me sick sick sick all the time and it's getting worse. Whining...
I just feel like whining. My ex put me in a shitty mood. When I'm not with my kids I appreciate the time alone, but also miss them like crazy. He treats them as an inconveinence. He's always so worried about "me" time. Shit. He has 11 days of "me" time before he gets burdened with my beautiful children. I don't understand it. Maybe he's just had such a taste of freedom over the last 16 months that he just can't handle responsibility anymore? Or maybe he's just more worried about getting a bj from his flavor of the week? It makes my heart hurt knowing my kids go over there every other weekend and he's just annoyed by them.

Starting Tomorrow
Well, after today, until the first weekend of November, I won't be on fubar, during the weekend during the day. I'll only be on in the early morning and late evenings. Do you ever get fed up with the same old shit different day? I don't know why but today I seem to have the blues.
