Update On Mom
Well theres good news n bad news. Her infection is bout cleared up n shes got her senses n memory back, n feeling like hereself in that respect. What Really Hurts????
It is onething to hear that a person that you love or know are very sick and maybe dieing ! But it's another to hear it about a very small child or a baby that is figthing to stay alive. Belated Cancun Trip Report April 28 - May 5

Best Week Ever

New Car
I got my car yesterday morning, so me and my brother chose to take a road trip to richmond (about 1 and a half away) to see spiderman 3 and meet up with some of his friends. The movie sucked IMO, but the nissan is so fucking fast i got it to about 125 and had to let off cuz i ran outa road. The car handled nice at that speed not much shake about the same as doing 60. A Very Special Mother's Day!
Today is mother's day & my first born's birthday too! Today Tyler is 5 and he is getting so big, too!! Today being Mother's Day reminds me of the day he was born. I was hoping to give birth on Mother's Day that year; but, unfortunately, he came a day later. I had been in labor since late the Friday evening before that Monday ..and wouldn't dialate so they kept stopping my labor. My water hadn't broken but my contractions were right on top of each other and they broke it ..still wouldn't dialate. Then my blood pressure kept going up and up and they feared I was going to have a stroke or something and my son's heartrate decreased as my blood preasure increased. This went on the entire time for more than two days, straight. Finally when my son's heartrate had dramatically dropped and gone below 70 they decided to call a surgeon and I had to have a c-section. Well, I have a photo up. I was gonna post the ones of the process of ridding myself of the hair but they got lost. anyways, like it or hate it, it's here to stay. I am officially accepted into the school of telecommunications down in Athens, and I have also scheduled many of my classes. I would like to thank Melissa for spending the day with me and keeping me company on the long drive down and back, and while i got my haircut, and for helping me find a mother's day gift for my mom. i feel revitalized by the events as of late. i feel reborn in a sense, and it couldn't of happened at a better time. i'm back and better than ever people!

Maybe southern women are rubbing off on me or its just a slow sports day.. but I'm watching NASCAR on my porch. They are in Darlington which is called the black widow lady.. why that is I don't know. I had an absolutely awesome Mother's Day Weekend. I have a special needs child, so my hubby tries to make it a very relaxing weekend for me. Yesterday, I was taken out for lunch, and then I had a Barbecue Supper prepared for me by hubby and son. Today, I had the whole day to do whatever I wanted (by myself) so after I got ready, I started at the Flea Market. I bought 4 VHS Disney movies for my son, a Mike Weir book for my hubby, and two James Patterson paperbacks for myself that I never had a chance to pick up yet. I am sorry if I have not been online, I have had a hellish week with lots of stuff going on. not only that, I have been informed by family, an friends, that my Grandmother is doing very poor. With me being a traveling man, I tend to be away for a long time. Its been an up and down road for her, she suffers from COPD, specifically emphysema. It has been a long hard trail for her, and it is finally winning. she was admitted to the hospital Friday and according to Dr's and Nurses she is not going to pull out of this one. 14 May 2007 Sitting here being down....Rudi is out of town till Wednesday for work, which I understand completely, but missing him extremely and knowing I have to go back to the states in a few days is killing me. Yeah finals are here and so far i feel confident that i'll get B's on both my Sociology and Psych finals. In my profile I mention that my husband has cancer in the liver and with Chemo he would have 2 years to live, well last week when he went for Chemo the Dr. told him that he has longer than the 2 yrs, because he is doing so good with the treatment he is getting. 91 Year Old Man
I just saw what had to be the most discusting act i have seen in quite a while. A 91 year old man was beaten badly by some young punk trying to take his car. That is bad enough but what really got to me was 5 or 6 people WATCHED IT HAPPEN AND DID NOTHING. Have people quit caring so much that they can watch someone get beat and sleep at night. This poor man fought in WW1. He deserves nothing but respect from everyone and to do this is unforgiveable. The punk is already in jail and while there i hope he gets beat down every day. I found out today by a podiatrist that I have plantar fasciitis. He prescribed me 2-20min cold water foot soaks, take Aleve 2x a day and to use Superfeet insoles. Today I bought a little package of Dibs. Little ice cream bits covered in chocolate. Pretty good. I noticed on the package that there was 0 trans fat. That got me thinking. I have never heard of trans fat until this nation-wide health craze started. To be honest, I still don't know what one is. But apparently it's bad for me. Now until this health craze started, packages never even mentioned trans fat. So I'm thinking trans fats don't exist. Just another scare from the government so you eat healthier and live longer(to pay more taxes).And if the packages never mentioned the trans fat, does that mean that there's 0 in that too? Today i'm not so strong, today has been filled with fake smile and falls "I'm fine"'s! I heard our song today and had to walk away. I saw his picture and I had to through it away! My "vacation"

My Prayer Request And More...
I have come to a point in my life where my financial situation is not very healthy... I have been unemployed since April 18th... I have been fighting depression over this... I know that depression is a spirit and I do not wish to allow it any control in my life... I have been praying about this for some time... I have submitted many resumes and have even had several job interviews... but nothing has turned up employment wise for me to date... I have also asked God to lead my steps and take me where He wishes for me to be and do what His will would be... my car is in need of repairs... the left rear wheel bearing assembly is making a loud roaring noise and I've been told by two mechanics that it could freeze up at any time... I am not whining about these things... I am only sharing them in order for you to know in what areas I need prayer... I'm not sure yet if God wants me to get another job or if if He wants me to be in a full-time ministry... Please take the time to pray for me.. lif

I Did It!!!
I finally did it! I passed my advancement exam and I am now an E4. I had passed the exam before but hadn't advance because there weren't many openings. I have also been doing funerals whenever the center needs me. I got in my required amount for my first Navy and Marine Corp Acheivement Metal. I will recieve that in July. So I am definately excited. It seams like my Navy career is heading in the right direction.

It's That Time Of The Year...
...and I thought this might prove to be helpful to someone since ticks seem to really be terrible this time of the year! (A School Nurse has written the info below -- good enough to share -- And it really works!!) I had a pediatrician tell me what she believes is the best way to remove a tick. This is great, because it works in those places where it's sometimes difficult to get to with tweezers: between toes, in the middle of a head full of dark hair, etc. Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and let it stay on the repulsive insect for a few seconds (15-20), after which the tick will come out on it's own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. This technique has worked every time I've used it (and that was frequently), and it's much less traumatic for the patient and easier for me. Unless someone is allergic to soap, I can't see that this would be damaging in any way. I even had my doctor's wife call me

some time ago i saw on the news that a local fire company had got into some serious trouble. this company went to a medical aide. everything was going fine until the firefighters started to party while on duty. later reppremends were handed out, some suspentions, others loss of jobs. now that makes me feel very bad, because this is hurting fire depts all over. THIS IS NOT CALLED FOR. so now when some people hear i'm a firefighter, they think is he gonna party and grope women while he's on duty or on a call. me i love being a firefighter, i've busted my ASS to get were i am today, & i'm proud of what i do. i've earned the trust i have with my community, & I'LL BE DAMNED IF ONE OF THE GUYS FROM MY FIREHOUSE DOES THIS. thats not what we're supposed too do. when a firefighter does this, it gives not only himself, but his fire dept. Geeeeeeezzzzzzzzz...you'd think this was Monday. It has already been a crazy friggin' day, and it's not even noon yet!!!! It started at 8:30 when the school called and said that my grandson needed to be picked up from school. Wednesday Stuff
Well this has been a long day already. I woke up at around 6 AM, with the guys working on the neighbor's sidewalk. Far too early for that. My Mom
Sorry I havn't been online lately. My Mom went back in the hospital Friday night and Saturday night she went in respority arrest. She was in the ICU unit untill this afternoon. She is doing a little better but she has a hole in her intestines, along with an abcess on her colon. I miss you guys and I will be back as soon as I can. Oh and an update in my mother in law. She is still on the vent and it dosnt look like she will ever get off. The smoking has made her lungs so weak that she cant brethe on her own enough to stay alive. I no longer think anymore that I am some sort of prophet or messenger...I know I am...today it struck me...today is a new day for a new way of living. I say to you people, friends and family alike...we are facing major crisis in our world today. Living In Mississippi
Dear Diary: May 30th: Just moved to Madison, Mississippi. Now this is a city that knows how to live!! Beautiful sunny days and warm balmy evenings. What a place! Watched the sunset from the Reservoir lying on a blanket. It was beautiful. I've finally found my home. I love it here. June 14th: Really heating up. Got to 100 today. Not a problem. Live in an air-conditioned home, drive an air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun on the water everyday like this. I'm turning into a sun worshipper. June 30th: Had the backyard landscaped with western plants today. Lots of cactus and rocks. What a breeze to maintain. No more mowing lawn for me. Another scorcher today, but I love it here.
