Lima Bean Soup Ingredients: 1 lb. bag of dried lima beans 1 Large can of diced tomatoes 1 pound of margarine or butter Bay Leaves 1 large onion sliced Salt and Pepper to taste Directions: Rinse Lima Beans and place into a large sauce pan. Cover with water and add onion and bay leaves; simmer until beans begin to soften. Add Margarine and tomatoes. Simmer till beans are tender. Add water as needed to keep from thickening to much.

More News On My Uncle
Well, the doctor ran more tests Thursday morning on my uncle and they have discovered another tumor. This one is located at the base of his skull. What made them check him out again is the shakes he has been having. It turns out he was having seizures as a result of this tumor. This tumor is smaller than the one in his stomach, a lot smaller. But it is in a difficult and painful spot. They will start the laser treatments on this one right away too. They believe this one to be benign also. Thank you to all who have been praying for him!

My Weird Day Part One

What's Next

Wonderful Weekend
My husband took the weekend off so we could take the kids trick or treating. Even had my neice for it. The kids made out like bandits. Then the next day was our local Fall Festival. We went to the afternoon parade and they ended up with another full sack of candy. That evening we went to the last parade and they got two full sacks of candy. So for this weekend the Kids ended up with 6 sacks full of candy. Oh what am i to do with it all. Is It Any Wonder That Online Universities Have A Bad Rep?
Oh MY GOD. I have been having a fantastic time with trying to enroll in school at either of the two largest and most recognized online U's. Online is truly the only option for me, 4 kids, a full-time job, yadda yadda. Who has time to sit in a real class? Anyhow, School A's sales rep* tells me on several seperate occassions that I'm qualified to recieve PELL grant money in a specific amount. The amount (coincidentally) coincides pretty closely with the access fees (book fees). This would mean zero or near zero out of pocket expenses, though the majority would be in student loans. Sounds good right? School B's sales rep talks about how they're cheaper than School A. However, their 'academic plan' puts me at 3/4 enrollment which qualifies me for less $$. When queried about adding an extra class to make my status full-time, I was told I couldn't do that until I was a sophmore...and would have to request special permission from the Dean. Ummm, okay. Im becoming slightly irritated with this site. It seems to me that people in charge pick and choose what is considered to be adult and what isnt. I am amazed at how people treat each other these days. It appears that the internet makes it that much easier for people to be heartless and cruel.
