So I got up yesterday and decided I didn’t want to spend the day at home. So I grabbed my wallet, keys, my camera and a monster and headed out west. It was a quite surprising day at the beach. It was like frikken October out there, all rainy and stormy. I only managed to make it out of my truck for about 5 minutes but got a few pictures that I think some people will like. Are We Safe Enough?
Now before I get into my rant I want to ask...why are we paying extra fees at the airport for nothing? I have noticed that our fine US Government is very lax in everything. Other countries check at least 80-85% of all cargo at the ports where we check only 15-20%. Other countries check your car and person before you can come within 1000 feet of an airport while our country lets you drive right up no problem. We are also inconsistent with the TSA. One airport stops someone for something stupid (a granola bar) while the returning flight this person takes lets him go through with a similar granola bar. If we are paying all of these extra fees where the hell is the money going? I think I should get an audited copy of every tax dollar that I spend every year so I can make sure that its actually going to where its supposed to. What do you think? I have to admit that I've only caught a little of the reports of this on CCN in passing. Andrew Meyer is the student that was asking the questions of Mr Kerry before his mic was cut and then escorted by police to the end of the building. I'm in shock here. Today And Loss Of Friendship
Well, each morning I feel a bit better. Stressed to the max. but better. However, it appears that for some reason not known to me, I lost a friendship. To that person, I am sorry for whatever the reason was and wish you all the best. You will be missed. And for the rest of MY day. I don't understand what kind of morbid excitment people get from degrading others. I hear it everyday about someone, somewhere. No person walking this earth can tell anyone what the value of their life is, let alone have the right to tell a person they are worthless. Sox Win Game 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it was a, "nail biting", "on the edge of your seat" nite for baseball in october With the NL teams having a travel day and not playing, both ALDS games were aired last nite. The Yankees once again fell short and failed to win a game. Thanks mostly to an extra innings base hit to drive in the winning run for Cleveland. And in much the same fashion, THE SOX battled the ANGELS in a game where they had the lead early but gave it up, and manged to tie the game. It stayed tied until the bottom of the 9th inning when, much in the same fasion as the yankees loss, MANNY RAMIREZ hit a 3 run home run to win the game for THE SOX!!!!!!! And so if things continue this way it looks like THE SOX will be meeting the TRIBE in the ALCS...the two best records in MLB this season...should make for an interesting series :D

What To Be For Halloween
Ok here goes. You all know I can't mumm anymore so i have to do this blogging stuff. Halloween is just around the proverbial corner and I do NOT know what to be. We always have a spook walk, cook out & campfire stories for all the kids whose ages range from 2-18. After all the little kiddies go home, we usually have an adult halloween party. So I may need 2 ideas. I'm totally cluelss as to what to be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be very helpful as well. I figure if I can get at least an idea for it, then I can start working on it this weekend and maybe have a finished product by the time Halloween gets here.

First Thing After Work
Like most people, I look forward to when I get to get home after work. Though perhaps unlike most people, the very first thing I do when I get home is to get out of my workclothes. (shirt, pants, and usually underwear too). I tend to work up a sweat at work, plus the clothes often get dusty and dirty, so it's quite refreshing to ditch those icky clothes ASAP. Eventually, I usually throw on a pair of boxers and/or some pajama pants to lounge in, but there is usually no rush for that. haha. Something That Is Going On Right Now!
I am not feeling like myself right now. I have to have surgery on the 19th and I will not be on for a few days or even a week after. I ave to have my uteris taken out because of internal bleeding inside of it. I am scared to go through this in many ys. I hate going under the knife for one and two because I feel like I wont be wanted if I cant have any kids. I know I already have three kids and I dont need any more but I want a huge family. I feel like I am not a woman right now and i hope that after I have this surgery that I will not feel that way, but I am afraid that I will feel like that! This is just my feelings down on. This is a sad week for me. I alway have a hard time this time of year. Thirteen years ago my dad died on Thanksgiving Day. I find it hard to pass this week in any sort of happiness. I'm supposed to be thankful for the blessings in my life... but it seems a week that I always find myself blue no matter how focused I try to be on the holiday preparations and family. Everyone else is starting their Christmas shopping, bustling around and being productive, and I always find myself in such a funk that I can't get out of my own way. I am always most thankful when Thanksiving is over and November is behind me, and I can move on to the celebration of Christmas. But right now I am just caught in my sadness. My mom will be arriving in a few hours to stay until the holiday... and of course she'll be getting on my case because the thinks I am depressed. I think I just have the normal ups and downs that anybody has. Just not entirely happy with the way my life is going just now.

Activex Control Help
I am having a problem with the AciveX control on fubar. I keep getting asked to run the control but when I do nothing ever happens. This has been happening since I joined and has become quite the problem. I have found something called regcure that claims they can help me at a cost of 30 bucks. Is this worth it? Starting Over...again
Well, I started another attempt with AA again. This time I found a different group and they are awesome! My sponsor is a very caring guy and my great grand sponsor is a hillarious nut! Our group is called Dog-Tired and it's a very unique group of men of Alcoholics Anonymous. I never liked AA because I always thought of it as a group talking about their problems and "bragging" about their past, and never talking about solutions. Well, not this group! This is my new family and I am living day to day without a drink and trusting Spirit to help me through this life.

Quitting Smoking...
I never really had an addictive personality. I have always been one who can try something once or twice, or even do it for a while socially and still have no problem leaving it behind me. The one thing I cannot understand is cigarettes. I smoked my first one when I was 13. Not too fond of the damn things. I started smoking fairly steady when I was just shy of 17. I got my tongue pierced shortly after turning 18 and quit for about 3 months. That is when it hit me, it is not the nicotine, it is the oral fixation. Once I became used to the tongue piercing, I wanted to smoke again and that is exactly what I did. I found out I was pregnant with my son when i was 19 and promptly quit smoking again. I did not smoke another cigarette until he was 6 months old. MY labret was pierced when he was about a year old and I stopped smoking for another month (once again, the oral fixation). Since then (which was about 5 years ago I suppose) I have smoked fairly steady. I have not smoked for 3 days now

Ok, so its 50 years since the publication of On the Road by jack Kerouac, which in my mind was one of the greatest novels of the last century. Not only did it start the whole Beat Generation with the Beatniks and hippies that followed, but it was also that the youth of the world really stood up and where noticed by the wider society as a whole. However it does sadden me that the message of the book seems to have been lost of millions of people. Most people seem to go ‘yeah, its great, loads of drug taking and sex and dropping out of main stream society’, but to me that’s not really the point the book is trying to make. It’s about the journey of self discovery, and looking for something spiritual or fulfilling in your life. hello all I went to the Dr today and the counts came up again which is a good thing it came up 26 thousands more which is up to 86 thousands but the total that has came up is so far is 77 thousands it has came up they are hoping that in a couple more weeks that we can start taking me off the med's but I'm not holding my breathe I feel like the Michelin tire guy( the big white guy) or the marshmallow guy from ghostbuster I have gain a total 13 lbs in 4 weeks and I found out it all fluid and will hope goes away once I'm off the med's but the next appointment is 01/07/2008 and there keeping and eye on the sugar to because it could get high sugar with this but cross your fingers this doesn't this has been a real wake -up call for me and I'm doing the best I can with it I get really snappy at the kids and everyone but this will go away thank you !!!! Chef’s Chocolaty Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats
Chef’s Chocolaty Peanut butter Rice Krispies Treats 1 large bag of marshmallows 1 bag of rice krispies cereal 1 bag chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter Tsp vanilla 1 can chocolate icing 1 Tbs butter 1. Line a large cookie sheet with wax paper or apply small amount of butter 2. In a large metal pot add butter and vanilla melt over med heat 3. Add marshmallows’ stirring constantly using a wooden spoon is best. Lower heat as marshmallows melt. Be sure to mix all the way to the bottom. Don’t allow burning. 4. Remove from heat 5. Immediately add Rice krispies(it may not take the whole thing add half mix add more until desired thickness), peanut butter and ¾ bag of chocolate chips 6. Mix thoroughly using hands (it’s the best way) 7. Dump into pan and spread evenly pressing down hard 8. Place in freezer for 20 min remove 7. 22 year old Craig Hale was killed off US 19, when his motorcycle traveling South, going an estimated 100mph, hit a SUV, also killing the driver of the SUV. Craig went through the drivers window and out the front windshield. He was on his Green motorcycle here in the pictures. I knew Craig briefly from work and his roommate is Nicx here on Fubar.
