Every relationship I have been in since I was 15 years old has been meaningless. All the sex I have had as been meaningless, as well. I think it might be time to move. Left my apartment at 7 am Tuesday morning and just got home early this afternoon! I was staying at my parents house since being released from the hospital ER. Had to wear the same clothes (minus one sock which had to cut off at the scene) until late Wednesday after my dad went to my apartment for some clothes, etc. It was better to be at my parents house since they only have one step and my apartment is on the second floor. I was using crutches to walk and was having a really tough time negotiating that one step.Saw my primary care doctor Thursday morning and he had my splint removed and redressed the wound. I will be returning next Thursday to get the stitches removed, there was a total of 11.With the splint gone, I was more mobil, only had to use one crutch and eventually no walking aid. Well I'm back home now and I totally enjoyed my weekend. I had a great time, I enjoyed meeting Kelly. I got along with her well I think. She made me laugh and we liked alot of the same things. It also gave me someone else to help pick on doc with :). The concert was amazing. We were 21 rows away from Rascal Flatts!!! Kelly and I were very excited to say the least. Once I download the picture to this computer I'll be adding some to my albums. Well once I get more picture space that is. God they were good seats. Here it is 2 days until showtime and I cut my hand a work. It is a good cut too right across my palm. But the show must go on and I will play my drums for the full hour. Are We Missing Something? Childhood Suicide.
I found out yesterday that my 14 year old daughter has lost a friend. Her friend has committed suicide. We will call her friend A., A.'s cousin killed herself a few weeks previously. My son lost 3 of his friends last year due to suicide and he was very 'cut up' over their deaths. What is happening to our young people? What makes them feel so desperate and alone that they feel they can't go on with life? Why aren't they talking to their parents? My heart feels so sad and heavy when i hear about a child taking their own life. I pride myself on being a laid back kinda parent who has always brought their children up to be able to talk openly about anything.
