God? Are You There?! Yeah, I Didn't Think So.
Yes, once again I'm consumed in deep thought about this whole god thing. It really makes no sense, to me. If there was a god, why would there be cancer at all? Why would bad things happen to good people? You can't say you're blessed in one breath, and then dismiss god for anything negative in the next. That makes no sense. I've watched 2 people die from cancer. Sure, everyone they knew prayed. (With the exception of me, I suppose.) That sure as hell doesn't strengthen your faith in this imaginary god. In fact, I can't believe there is any righteous god that would allow such atrocities to occur. Don't confuse divine intervention with random coincidence or the limited control we have over our own destiny/fate. And if you're going to try to tell me that the "devil" is behind this, then god has obviously lost the war. There are people who say "god was with them" when something horrible happens, and that's why they were only severely injured instead of killed...or whatever scenario.

In fact, there is much more scientific proof that it's exactly the opposite, that rises in temperature are causing a very slight increase in the CO2 level. CO2 is only .054% of our atmosphere and is emitted by all living things, not to mention that volcanos and the ocean release more CO2 than all living things on this planet combined. There is much more evidence that sun spots and solar winds have far more impact on the temperature of the planet. Don't believe every bullshit theory that gains popularity. Think for yourself. Watch this documentary and do some research of your own.

Blah Blah I Run My Mouth Too Much
I was talking to my sister on the phone yesterday and she told me that one of the Air Force pilots that do the air shows with all the neat trick and stuff crashed like 3 or 4 days ago in Beaufort SC. That REALLY sucks. She also told me about several weird things that have happened in my homoe town of Charleston (her Mother in law cleans the ER so she gets to find out the dirt). There was an incident where a woman left her 5 or 6 month old daughter at home with her boyfriend while she went to work... this guy Sexually assulted the infant and in the end after they tried to remove him (he got stuck) they had to castrate him. In my honest opinion that is not all he deserves!

Lemon Sorbet:
LEMON SORBET: 1/3 cup lemon zest - you'll need 3 to 5 additional lemons 1 cup strained fresh lemon juice - from lemons used for cups 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups water In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Crowded Elevators And Anxiety Attacks Suck.
Well, i finally slept last night. Consciousness was just as bad this morning as it was last night however. I go to my Dr's appointment and am still having the anxiety attack from last night. Then because it was lunch time, all the elevators were crowded, i waited for like 6 different ones and I ended up having to walk down 7 flights of stairs while crying and freaking out(in front of 6 elevators full of people), because ill be damned if i can get into a packed elevator when I'm already having anxiety problems. If you see me answer my phone and look really sad in the next few days, here is why: My Aunt Fluffy (the one in the nursing home) went to the hospital tonight. Her blood sugar was really low and she wasn't responding properly. Her temp was 101. They gave her Tylenol, and it went to 103. So they called the ambulance. Regular Lehigh Valley Hospital ER was full (happy Fri the 13th), so they diverted her to the Lehigh Valley Hospital in town. This is all the info there is at present time. What I Have Learned

Kindergarten Comes At Last!!!!
Well, this week is the week and my four year old son is finally going to school. I was very pleased to see that my hours worked out just fine this week for his school hours....I am going to take him to school and pick him up this week.((I had to fix my schedule around a bit this week only and then change my reg schedule around so that I can take him to school and pcik him up)) And then next week I will get him into the after school program "Kids Club" since that actually ends at 6pm every night....I get out of work by 5:30pm. Luckily, for me I get Friday's off at work still so I can have at least one day to take Jake to school and pick him up. His hours are from 8:55am to 3:45pm. And then this monday night is "Meet the Teachers Night". I think it will be a lot of fun.

The fall of 1992 was a special time for me being a football fanatic, and the community in which I grew up. What I learned in those few months went way beyond football. Being a former player of my high school team, it was a given that I would roam the sidelines at every game. In 1992, two things changed that made our crowds to big to do that. Time to get it off my chest. It's been almost a year since my husband died. Maybe if I open up a little I won't feel so numb. So here's our story. I met Thomas Ray Pruett Jr April 21, 2001. I had seen him around town but never officially met him until now. My good friend Shelli introduced us. I was infatuated right then and there. Yesterday I went to Auburn Univ's season open again Kansas State (or those who don't read my profile I'm an Auburn Univ Alum so War Damn Eagle!!!). I got into town around 10 central time. I am wondering how much of yourself do you give away when you forgive someone? Does relinquishing your anger and hurt for that person take away from the totality of yourself? Or rather, does the retention of such feelings erode away at the core of a person until they finally feel as if they have nothing left, because they have been angry for so long? If I forgive people for "tresspasses against me" do I give up a peice of myself that I needed, or just something that was added that is much healthier for me NOT to have access to? What deserves finite atonement and what is impossible to rectify? Who makes that decision? The transgressor, the the victim, or a third party arbitrator? (If so, is there a number, I have cases pending) Is it cool to forgive because it is the nice thing to do, or is it because it is the right thing to do? Much study is needed.

Gotta Vent
As some of you know I had surgery last Thursday...if not it was not minor surgery, I had drains left in until today. I have had a PICC line in my arm for IV antibiotics for the past three weeks...not fun to say the least. I had a negative lumpectomy 3 years ago and got staph from the surgery. I have been fighting it for 3 years!! A year and a half ago I went to a plastic surgeon who said they could fix the problem by removing the damaged tissue. Well 3 days after surgery I again had a staph infection and was on antibiotics. To make this shorter I have had off and on infections since then and they always drained them and up me on meds until finally an ultrasound was done and they saw how really big of an area they were dealing with......hence the IV meds this time. I went back to to doctor today and found out ALL of the tissue taken was infected with staph......and on top of this I have a horrible cold/sinus infection...whatever, can hardly talk. Finals
Today was the last day of classes and of course I had finals. This morning I had my finals for Surgery and Anesthesia. I was deathly afraid of these classes. All I ever heard were horrible stories. These are very hard classes to pass. I ended up getting a B on my Surgery final! And an A on my Anesthesia final!!! YAY!! :-) I am so excited. I was almost thinking I may have to take these classes over. Whew! I also had a final in my Zoonosis & Occupational Hazards class today. I got 1 wrong on the final and walked out with a 102% for a final grade in the class!! :-) I am ecstatic today! 6 more months and I will graduate. But the toughest part is yet to come...

My Surgery Yesterday
Hi to everyone, I had my arm surgery yesterday and they had some complications. I only have use of one hand for about three weeks while my bad arm is casted and splinted. The Concerned Mother
A man and wife were driving late one night when a woman who appeared to be injured flagged down their car. Lost But Never Forgotten
For those of you who know me I had some bad...more like devastaing news last evening. Someone let my dog loose for the SECOND time. The 1st time he was cut from his leash and this time he was just taken off of his chain. To make a long story short, I lost my little boy Casper. I found him wet and passed away on another street over from where I live. I was amd am still VERY deeply saddened by this. He was a white Miniature Schnauzer...only 3 years old. For those of you are are animal lovers please keep us in your prayers, he was like a child I may never have. I do believe there was foul play but only Casper knows for sure...and whoever did this to him. He was burried with the rest of his family at my Aunt's house. What A Weekend.
Hey all just wanted to say sorry I haven't been on for a few days. My poor little girl has been sick spiking fevers as high as 103.2. She has been feeling so miserable and I was by her side non-stop. I am happy to say she is feeling better today and seems to be getting well again. I always feel so horrible when she is so sick like that. Not eating or drinking anything. Doing The Fitzone Thing
So I got up this morning at 7:55am, did some laundry, vacuumed and got ready to go to the Gym.. My appointment was at 9:30am and my dad was late getting here so I didn't get to walk to the gym. But I did get a very extensive work out with circuit training and did 40 minutes of cardio. Got my heart rate going really well so all in all I did just shy of 2 hours of working out. I really liked the woman that I worked with..she was very good at motivating me and helped me accomplish my goals today.. I am going again tomorrow morning and I'm probably going to do 60 minutes of cardio and double the amount on the circuit. Next week when my parents are back from Vegas I am going to start doing the 9:30am classes and then after that doing the circuit and then at least 3 times a week I am also going to go back again when my friend Heather starts watching Connor and doing a second class.. Bottom line is we all just want to be happy. Most people prefer someone else there to share in our happiness. Someone to hold, someone to kiss, someone just to call to hear his or her voice. And who doesn't want that? Sure, you have the few people who like their single life and like being able to do what they want when they want, and there's nothing wrong with that, but at some point in life everyone wants that person to hold, even if only for a split second in time. I heard the ice cream truck come through the parking lot here.. so i ran out to get one... felt like a chaco taco. Im Going To Be On Tv
There is a new show coming out called Black and gold. I will be on tv. It will be on court tv but they are changing it to trutv. The producer will be here tomorrow for more stuff for the show.
