07-01-06 Current mood: relaxed Saturday was a slow day at work so by closing time we had Pirate, Ringmaster, and some one new... I'll call him Bones. Bones is a major bouncer here in Asheville. Run Of Bad Luck
Well things have been going good for me over all, as if you would know since this is my first blog on here. Lately I've had some rotten luck, first of all, my car broke down, then my fiancee got sick and I missed work for a few days to stay home and take care of the kids, then I was sick. But back to the car, thinking it was the starter I replaced that, well no luck there. Thinking I might have gotten a bad starter I took it back off and sure enough it was cracked. So went back to the auto parts store got a new one, put it on and guess what....still wouldnt start. So I switched batteries with the van we have but have no plates on so we cant drive it, and that didnt work, but I did get the van started with the battery from the car. Let that run for about 30 min or so, make sure it was charged. Then, but the battery back in the car and it started finally....but, the belt was squealling like crazy...turns out that the alternator is locked up, so now I have to replace that, which I have no

I know that CT has become nothing but a popularity contest and at first it was great getting attention and tons of friend requests, but now it's just kind of annoying....I have tons of people on my friends lists and VERY rarely do I talk to any of them. Nj Firefighter Killed In Iraq
We are sad to advise you that Carlstadt, New Jersey FF Michael Schwarz was killed in the line of duty in Iraq yesterday. Mike was a member of Carlstadt Engine Company #2, along with his father, past chief Ken Schwarz and his brother Frank Schwarz who is a Lieutenant. Mike was also a member of the Wallington (NJ) FD Emergency Squad. I wish I was brought up Italian. They have the most incredible foods. Gnocchi is one of them. I have tried Gnocchi from many restaurants in my area and there is one that by far has the best around. Hello to all my friends, family and fans and Happy New Year to all of you! I hope everyone has a spectacular 2007! As for myself, although 2006 was a tough year for me as far as my health was concerned, it will be one of the most memorable. As some of you may know (meaning the ones that have spoken or written to me), I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in the beginning of the year, and spent the better part of it going for treatment. It was one of the most hellacious experiences I have ever had, and I pray none of you have to go through what I went through. But through it all, I had my friends, my family, and people that I met here to keep me strong and keep me focused on getting better. The best part about it is, I learned that I will NOT be starting 2007 stricken with cancer. Earlier this month, I learned the cancer has gone into full remission. I will have one more treatment in a few weeks and that will be the end of this very rough road. I count my blessings that over all,

Fatherhood
Well for those of you who have taken the time to get to know me, You know i am a father of 3 children. Well apparently thats about to change. My wife has taken to home tests and they both say that we are about to have a new bundle of joy. She is going to the doctors tomorrow to have a proper test done just for final confirmation, but we are pretty sure that it will be the same result. This wasn't planned, but we couldn't be happier. I have let paperwork pile up here from my fundraising presentations I have been making for the past week and I do need to get it all turned in tomorrow. I know CT is addicting but I am going to need to go cold turkey today and ignore the computer. I do need to get things done. After doing all my paperwork I do need to finish chapter four in my ebook and then get busy with chapter five. I would like to get this all done by the end of the month and then build a web site where I can then sell the ebook to all online who wishes to buy it. I also need to find out how to set up pay pal on the web site, etc. So much to do and so little time.

My Everything...
is gone. It is official, y daughter is in N.C. and soon to be on her way to Alaska to spend about six months with her father :(. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for these next 6 months, but I'm sure it'll mainly consist of comfort food and mooshy girly movies, or maybe a lot of sleep. Sleep away six months? Sounds tough but I think I can do it. If anyone has any better suggestions help me out here. Six months is a long time to be without the person you spent every day of 2 years with, morning, noon and night. I miss her :'(

What Pissed Me Off Today
Ok here goes my first vent of 2007. This morning I got upfor work at 4am like always. In my job i am required to carry a gun and wear body armour etc. So anyhow this morning i get to work and our company has just done a huge merge with another company. Non of management decided to train or organize anything before the merge. So as you can imagine everything became one huge cluster f@#$. Basically we ended up working anywhere from 12-20 hour shifts for less pay and no thanks. Before the merge we were paid $10 ph lame i know but it was a job....now we get paid by the stop which can range from $2 - $4 so basically we are earning less money and working twice the hours. So this morning i got to work to find out I had one of my team removed from our route which meant at least a 20hr day. I am currently in college and due to graduate in May.
