What Ever Happened To The Public Hanging?
For some reason this has been on my mind for a day or so. School Holidays
Well it is the school holidays here in australia. The kids are driving me crazy like as always. I did take them out for a little while on tuesday but that was crazy as well. She and her husband run it, and they have some of the best, freshest seafood I've ever had. So I made this last night, and it turned out pretty tasty! I figured I'd share. You need: - Uncooked shrimp (preferably fresh, not frozen) - Worcestershire sauce* - Lemon juice - Garlic - Rosemary - Butter, melted (about 1 stick) * Personally, I find this to be the most fun ingredient, because it's so damn hard to say. If you don't think it's hard to say, take a shot of Tequila and try again. It's fun! You do: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Wash the shrimp and put them in a Pyrex baking pan. Not Going To Be Around Much
I'm not going to be around much for a while. I need to go somewhere to see some people and the list is so long I don't know where to start. First, I want to see an eye doctor because I just don't see like other people do. I look in the mirror and see someone fat, or old, or ugly. Obviously most people do, so I'm not looking again, it's just adding to my delusions. And to that, I need to see a psychiatrist, because I am not fitting into society very well. It's not a popular thing to be polite, to care about hurting other people, to be nice to people who are having a rough go of it. I also want to see a contractor about this "Shell I live in". Someone told me that, but I don't see it! Where the fawk is this shell! It must be invisible because I get online all I can to interact with friends. My car is broke down right now or I would be going out and taking pics and stuff. So where's this shell people speak of? Long day ahead of me. Maybe several.

War. How Do You Feel About It.
I enjoy reading history and war seems to be a big part of the human trail. I suppose we all have our views on the activity and some can say some wars are justified. But is any first strike morally justified especially if we can't truthfully proove the reasons for the first strike before we attack? Whatever your opinions on the Iraq invasion we all might have our feelings about war itself. I wrote this poem a number of years ago to express how I feel about war in general. I write what and how I feel about something. What do you feel about war? Oh by the way. I was 19 miles from the World Trade Center when it went down. I lost friends in that attack. I can still smell the dark smoke and I won't ever forget but if we are going to be angry let's at least shoot at ther correct targets. (WAR) WHAT IS THE USE? They say it's crazy, they say it's sad. Former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight titleholder Evan Tanner was found dead in the mountain area near Palo Verde, Calif. on Monday. He was 37 years old. Dinner For 12 Sept 08
For dinner last night I made a dish from my childhood. It is SIMMERED LION'S HEAD. No, it doesn't have any lion meat in it, rather the final dish should resemble a lion head (in an artsy fartsy way.) It is also a dish served on high occasions, as it contains enough meat to peasant feed a family for a week. It has relatively few ingrediants and should be enjoyed for the richness and simplity of the dish. SIMMERED LION'S HEAD 2 lbs ground pork 1 T rice wine or dry sherry 1/2 t salt 1/2 t msg 1 T sugar 1 T minced green onion 1 T minced ginger 1 egg 2 T corn starch Combine the above with the pork and mix well. My Mom would tell you to mix in one direction only, don't ask why, just do it! If the meat is lean add up to 3 T water. Now make a slurry of the following: 2 T soy 1 T corn starch 2 T water Divide the meat into 8 equal portions and form into meatballs, big meatballs. Then, coat the meatball with the slurry. The New Rating System
Ok so Fubar decided to make speed rating impossible but they overcompensated. At the speed with which they want us to rate we'd all need to be on dialup connections. I can load the page fully, comment, look at the picture for awhile and then rate and still get it ignored. I can have the very first picture I rate ignored. I understand they want to eliminate EZ Rate pictures. There is a much simpler solution to this. Increase the minimum pixel size of pictures you upload. That will stop the small pictures from being uploaded. Combine that with a set time to rate pictures that is less then the current setting. Fubar's premise in this action is understandable and I even agree with it. I do not agree with their method. Yes I will have to work a bit harder to level up now. Oh well. But I no longer enjoy going through other pictures and rating them. I look at pictures, I comment pictures, some I stare at even, but getting ignored then having to go back to it just to rate it is annoying. A goo

School...
Ok, so I've been really bad about keeping this blog updated. OK, OK, I know, I haven't even posted to this one. Anyway... I started school in January. Was supposed to be taking 18 credits, but the school cancelled one of my classes for low enrollement. No biggie, it was just a medical math class. That dropped me down to 17 credits. Ok, I can handle that. Even though most students don't take more than 12-14 per term when going full time. Well, two of the classes I was enrolled in were only half term classes, so I finished those at the halfway mark. Two more classes were full term classes, but I finished them early at the mid-term mark as well. Ok, so that gave me 8 credits that I already earned - WOOHOO!! Then they posted the schedule for spring term. Uh oh. There's a problem. Two of the classes I was supposed to take during spring term are only being offered at one time during the term. This morning, a friend of mine and I got talking about when I had come over for a visit. Killer Crickets
So its a lil late but heres part two of teh cricket saga...Iz been busy. As many know I have a cricket crisis, no Im not lacking Names for the Wicked Lil creatures, they have infested my truck.. July 20th my friend Lola passed away. I was a complete and total shock. Yes she had been sick, but was on the mend. Or so we thought.
