Quick Note Re Blogs, Safari Browser, Me, ...
I've come to the conclusion I just can't seem to rate blogs I haven't rated before on this using this browser (the "basic" Mac one. Will rate them from time to time but only after switching to other browsers, Firefox etc., which I do more rarely lately.) Update: things work rather poorly with fubar and Safari , not great with fubar and Firefox, but rather well with fubar and Google Chrome, on my computer, so I've been using Chrome as my primary browser for some time now... (Nov 2010)

My Last Heartbreak...
Wanted to write this blog for awhile, since I always bring this story up when comforting friends and/or explaining why I take my time anymore... Okay, so I'm seeing that people are annoyed by the new 'buy a round' feature. I'm not really sure why, I think it's fun. I've seen statuses of people threatening to delete others for sending them a drink. That's your perogative; i don't understand it, but it's your page. I'm just curious how you decipher if someone is just sending you a drink because you're low or to be nice, or if they sent it to everyone. But whatever. Wow...
I just found out Friday that I got another job. I will now be working 3 jobs plus going to school. So that pretty much means I won't be on here a whole lot for a while, but I will still be around. I promise I won't totally disappear like last time :) Thats all I got...have a great day everyone :)

This is not an internet crusade. To me it's fairly fundamental. Not many people like child abusers (or 'paedos')...it's very easy to scream and shake fists online when encountering what you, quite naturally, despise. It's not so easy to take a moment and consider a few things: - whatever child is in that picture is being/has been abused, exploited and neglected. A child posing provocatively is as clear a sign of abuse as if they were sitting there with an adult actually molesting them. - in many cases, they may be missing and have one or both parents looking for them - Fubar has to delete such content if it wants to remain a site. They do what they have to do - and they are good at it. They're quicker and more responsive than most other sites I've seen. - BUT when you shake your fist and demand it be removed from your sight, without doing anything else, those pictures, THAT EVIDENCE, disappears into the ether again. Okay, to give me a little more variety of things to eat in the next couple of weeks, I fixed this wonderful Southwest Texas traditional dish (with a little variation of my own): Mix in big stew pot until well mixed and heated -- 2 cans sweet peas 2 cans mushroom soup* (also add water as per instructions on can; you will need this extra liquid when adding the corn tortillas later) 1 can rotel tomatoes with cilantro 5 stalks celery diced up 1 sweet onion cut into chunks 1 bag grilled chicken strips (24 oz)** Season to taste (usually use garlic and Mrs Dash's garlic and herb) Take from heat and add and stir in small torn pieces of corn tortillas. Pour into casserole dish; top with cheese; bake in oven for 15-30 mins. Ready to serve an army! j/k... It is a hefty amount that goes into a very large casserole dish. I must have caught that bug that is floating around out here on the west coast. I am just feeling terrible all over. What a Valentine's Day... could not even enjoy it. So we have delayed it. Hopefully this weekend I will be feeling better to really enjoy the full IMPACT of a good Valentine's Day. Pork Tenderloin With Blueberry Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients: Makes 4 Servings for Sauce * 2 pints (5 to 6 cups) blueberries * 2/3 cup honey * 1/2 cup ketchup * 1 jalapeño pepper , seeded and minced * 1/2 cup chopped shallots * 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger * 2 tsp. fresh lime juice * 1/2 tsp. dry mustard for Meat * 2 one-pound pork tenderloins * Salt and freshly ground pepper To make sauce: Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 45 minutes. Divide sauce between 2 bowls. Set aside. To make meat: Preheat grill to medium. Season pork with salt and pepper. Sear, turning to cook all sides, 10 to 15 minutes. Brush with half the barbecue sauce, turning frequently, until pork is thoroughly glazed, about 10 minutes more (a meat thermometer should read about 150°). Set aside and let rest 5 minutes. Carve crosswise; serve with remaining barbecue sauce.

So my children were 15 minutes late coming home on the bus today... I was going nuts by 10 after 3 (they get home at 3 everyday) I called the daycare then the school. Er.. Real Life Drama ...
Today.. Nov 18th.. Woke up in pain and Popped a Perc.. Not helping ..Wish I had the Morphine drip they gave me in the Hosp . Ok started out on Wed, Went for a reg Dr appt then To the Er to check these bad pains I would have on and off ..Thought was gas lol Indegestion whatever.. turned out they said My Liver was damaged due to A Gall stone stuck in my Bile sac.. Ok gross.. So they say it fixable .They admitted me.. The next day On the 16th i believe i had this procedure done where they go in my mouth with a scope search for the stone and suck the sucker out.. Which all went well.. Next day the 17th surgery scheduled for gall bladder removal.. went well except for the damn pain.I was up and moving so they sent me home yesterday but Im in Pain damn I should of used that morphine drip more often Now im sounding like a addict. Not A Sausage!
Nope. Nothing. Nowt. Zip. Nada. No sex all week, seven days since my last, albeit explosive, rumpy pumpy sesh. Not good is it? Having said that, it wasn't for want of trying. I think it's no surprise to anyone that families fuction in a uniquely dysfunctional way, and that there are ugly secrets behind every seemingly functional family. Mine is no different. In the recent past (last year or so), my sister has continued a downward spiral into drug abuse and psychotic behavior. When it really started to get the worst, she decided that she would go and get pregnant because she needed someone who loved her. She got pregnant while on drugs (enough to kill an elephant at that) and miscarried several times. She finally got pregnant the last time, and it stuck. Instead of deciding to quit taking the drugs, or get some kind of help, she continued on, business as usual, getting high. She landed herself in jail (again) while she was 3 months pregnant. Look! Out on the buffet table … it’s bruschetta … it’s French bread pizza … it’s … bruschetta pizza! Okay, I couldn’t decide which one to call it, so it’s both. Ingredients 1 large can (28 ounce) diced tomatoes 1/2 loaf French bread 2 tablespoons basil pesto 8 ounces shredded mozzarella olive pomace oil Directions Prep If you’ve got fresh pesto, fabulous. What I’ve got is the stuff I made last summer and froze. So I took it out early and let it thaw. Putting it in a metal bowl will make it thaw faster. My Last Fight
It starts the way any 2 sisters who love each other fight she tells our mother something I didn’t want her to know; now mom is mad and I hang up the phone with sister saying “I love you” and I don’t reply. War Injuries

Grilled Chicken With Chipotle-peach Glaze
Prep Time:30 min Start to Finish:30 min makes:8 servings 1/2 cup peach preserves 1/4 cup lime juice 1 canned chipotle chile in adobo sauce, seeded, chopped 1 teaspoon adobo sauce (from can of chiles) 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 1/2 lb) 1 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 peaches, cut in half and pitted, if desired Cilantro sprigs 1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. In 1-quart saucepan, mix preserves, lime juice, chile and adobo sauce. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until preserves are melted. Im in a dilemma and dont know what to do so going to take some ideas from all my wonderful friends and fans :) heres the situation- I work in a factory on a line that i HATE- the job itself is not bad but all the politics and bullshit that goes with it. ************************************************* my job now- 4- 12 hr graveyard shifts(7-7) and 10 hrs on sat night/Sunday days for double time pay though also have been having to cover shifts on Thursdays fridays for people on FMLA or just plain shorthanded so this amounts to 6 or 7 shifts a week instead of 5.While the pay is nice it is a VERY physical job(heavy lifting, bending,on feet entire shift) I also have some issues with some people on my line but who doesnt? ****************************************** about 3 weeks ago I bid on another line( 5- 8 hrs shifts mostly days and even with 5 positions available was denied. I was upset yesterday for the Seahawks losing their game against the Packers ... what a storm.
