Dating.......
I have come to the conclusion that dating fuckin sucks. OK so that wouldnt be that bad if I had more friends and a way to spend my free time but being in a new city it has been difficult going out and meeting new people. I guess that is in part because the shy side of me comes out. It is really getting annoying and old. I dont know what to do. I meet somebody online and it doesnt work out for whatever reason I dont know because I dont get any contact after the first date. Its like really am I that fucked up or that bad of a person that I cant even get why they dont want to talk any more? What the fuck is the deal? Well anyways I just needed to vent about the bullshit that has been going on.

OK True Story..... Does the thought ever cross your mind that there is really no truly honest people in the world anymore? Especially when you see film of someone lying on the street in distress of some kind, and people are actually STEPPING OVER that person and just keep on going! Hey Everyone – thanks for your support of Bada Bing – Hopefully you all are enjoying the warmer weather and staying out of the rain. Lol – With summer months coming on, days online are slower. So we will start planned shifts at 7 or 8 pm to adjust some for the summer daytime slowdown. As always in Bada, any DJ can get on any time of day – so you may see someone want to spin and get on air earlier – if they do they will change their status and put out a bully – However as far as scheduled planned shifts – they will most likely start at 7 or 8pm EST depending on the day and peoples schedules. My Pop is my grandfather. HE has lived a long a fruitful life. he grew up in hard times during the Great Depression. He could always make me laugh at the things he did as a child of that era. He would talk about how hard the times where, how he would help feed the family by hunting with his brothers. He would talk about how if he missed his shot and wasted a bullet he would get a spanking cause the money for ammo wasnt there, and back then you had to make every shot count. He fought i World War 2 in the Philipines, a Sergent in the Army Infantry. he fought on the front lines, and defended his country like most of the American men of that era. Starting Point
building model cars is something i have been doing since high school. it was part of a class project to build a model car. i think the first one i did was a 1966 ford fairlane. and from then on i was hooked. i might not build show winners or contest worthy cars but it is something that i enjoy doing. i don't have too many places to show off what i build so i was hoping to start posting pics of what i have been building lately. not too many places carry car model cars anymore so i have to find them wherever i can. usually i pick them up at yard sales and second hand stores. right now i estimate i have about 200-300 kits in my collection. plus about 3 trunks full of parts. what i find most fun is finding a kit that isn't complete and putting my own spin on it. so now what i am gonna try to do is post pics of some of the projects i have worked on and share them with the rest of the world. i hope you enjoy them as much as i have enjoyed bringing them to you.

all my years alive i was tought that friends are there for you no matter what. They love to talk to you everyday and will do anything for you. Over the past couple of years it seems that almost everybody has lost that sence of being a friend. Now its who has what and how much they make and how they look. Have we became that shallow? Is it so hard to actuely be friends with people for who they are and not what they are or what they have or look like? I have kept to being a friend for who that person is inside not what they look like on the outside or what they have or can offer me. If everybody went back to that sence of friendship there would be lesss depression in the world. My Weekend
Ex husband didn't show up to court (big surprise). Warrant was issued. Mom and Sam were disappointed (they wanted to see the ex explain why he hasn't paid child support and subsequently see him get arrested-can't say I blame them). I almost feel like the trip to Ga was wasted but I got some quality time in with my family and they got to spend more time with Sam. At A Bar
I'm kind of new at this so bare with me a bit. Anyways I have a little story. My friends and I had gone to a pretty well known bar in the area and I had a few drinks and then a few more. I do fine if I stick with beer, not too many can out drink me with beer, but when I hit the hard stuff I'll admit I'm pretty much a pansy. So eventually I did start doing some shots and I got totaly blitzed. It was then that I noticed this pretty little petite thing sitting at a table. So I walked over and sat down beside her. She didn't say anything so I thought it would be a good idea to start a conversation. I don't remember what I said but I know me and sober I've been known to say somethings that just shouldn't be said out loud. Well I did learn two things that night. One is that I can really piss a woman off and the other is that little petite girls can throw a punch. My friends had a good laugh and still do The moral of the story is friends shouldn't let friends talk drunk.

I sit here on a nice peaceful day off and for no apparent reason I am in a pissed off mood. I constantly hear from everyone around me how horrible their lives are or how unhappy they are with everything. I am quite frankly tired of it all. I try to be a happy person but when I hear nothing but complaints from so many it gets trying. I got yelled at by a really close friend because I never call him to see if he's okay so he deduced that must not care about him. I believe that friendship is a two way street and he doesn't call me EVER. I am the type of person that doesn't want to impose on others so I don't constantly call friends, especially if they don't take the time to call me. If you don't call me but expect me to call you constantly to "reach out" then prepare to be disappointed. I think the hardest part of this whole trying to go to school thing is having to deal with the lack of definitive answers. I drove to St. Pete today to drop off yet another single solitary piece of paper to sing song Laura. I can't pretend to know what's involved in her job. A lot of her job seems to be telling me that I ask good questions. I too think that, "So will I be able to go to school in December even if the grants aren't through?" is a good question. Untitled; Part I: The First Years (cont.)
I wasn't in the city when the bomb went off. I was far enough away not to be effected by it's force. But I was certainly close enough to watch the flash that lit up the horizon like a sunrise on a warm spring morning. It looked beautiful. I felt the ground shake. It was like a very weak earthquake, it would have gone unnoticed if it weren't for the flash of light and the boom of what sounded like thunder in the distance. People all around me then began to show concern, almost panic. At the time I was on my way to meet with my employer. I stopped near the city center market in Moscow. I had to stop there. Had to calm my nerves. A few minuted before I stopped I got into it a brief argument with the local police over a pocket knife I had that was a little longer than legally allowed in Russia. On August 4th, 2001, while walking across a street, I was struck/run over by a Ford Explorer. From that event I sustained MANY injuries, but the most serious of which was (is) a Traumatic Brain Injury. Now (and for the rest of my life) I'm just a little slower than most. School Safety

Pregnancy
As most of my friends and family know, as well as those i have told online, my wife is pregnant. I'm so fucking happy. When we found out we were going to have our daughter, we were really scared.Mostly that we didnt know what we were getting into and how our families would react. So far everything is ok, although her parents are in Mexico, so we can't tell them just yet. I am still a little worried about how her parents will react, but i know they both will be very happy. So far it doesnt seem like a big deal that we are pregnant. I think mostly because we aren't as scared and we know what we can expect and that our parents will be there to help us if we need it. Also, we still have a lot of baby things that we decided to keep for just this occassion, which is great. For me, i think it feels more natural, more relaxed. Mostly because i don't have to worry about what anybody thinks this time around. I also know that we can handle anything and everything that comes our way.

Emerging From The Darkness
It's a good thing I don't have a fear of the dark. A night without electricity and thus heat in a basement suite is a long dark and lonely one. The lights went out as it was getting dark, so I couldn't do anything about it until this morning. Survival instinct took over and I was able to keep warm by huddling under my blankets. At the same time, it was pretty peaceful. The best hibernation yet. I suppose I could have called my friend Yvonne and bunkered down at her place, but I decided to stand guard here, just in case. Probably not the first time I've written a blog about this composer, born in England but by his own account- and not just for eccentricity, I would say!, but out of family and other forms of identification also...- Parsi-Sicilian. (1892-1988) (Neither is there much especially 20th-century "British" about his mature music, though it combines a number of other influences fairly smoothly.) Some information about Sorabji in an interesting 2003 article here. Aside from having a Sorabji score in manuscript photocopy I was once asked to make a new edition from (but these years later, have not... erm... well... I've been re-reading a volume "Sorabji: A Critical Celebration", edited by Paul Rapoport and full of letters by, articles and information about, the composer. Great stuff...

Well I logged off the pc before she got home from work. Needless to say I did hide out in my daughters room in the sweltering heat. (We hit records today with 101) She hasn't mentioned anything else to me, but I have this really empty feeling if that makes sense. The way that I see it, if I do have to go stay at my moms until I go back to Germany can't be as bad as staying here feeling like I am in jail or being treated like a 2 year old. At least at my moms I would have my own room and peace and quiet. The only thing I would not like is having to give up the job I got because there is no bus out there. With all of this bullshit I am damned if I do and damned if I dont. For me being a usually "UP" and Cheery person, I am feeling really hollow right now. My only goal at this moment is to be back in Germany with Rudi and that is not possible till at least August 20th, and thats only because passport bullshit. Yup i finaly got a seasonal job at EB games, and a job at an express Lube doing car maintance and working the desk. I am laughing as I type this! I could not find my cell phone so I called the number. I could hear my cell phone ring through the phone I called it on. im sitting here this morning and was think about all the things that have happened to me over the years while driving a truck. i have been robbed, had things stolen from my truck , and learned alot about the old adage " wrong place at the wrong time" But one thing has always intruged me, and that is the flasher. Busy Busy
i haavent blogged in quite a while and not much else is new except im working a little more on a different shift too so im not quite used to it yet so my sleep patterns are crazy insane. That and the fact that I am about to embark on insulating the whole attic and basement tp hopefully save some bucks on heating and cooling bills. Also would like to get the ducts all cleaned as we have lived here over 10 yrs and i dont think its ever been done- anyone know who I contact for this? I have NO idea! Besides all that we are also making Nathans old room(he got the master bedroom when I moved ours downstairs) into a spare room-knocking down walls and insulating them as well because the drywall is pretty much ruined and about unrepairable. Ok here's the situation. My sister has Mesothelioma and it is in her lung going into her spine. She came across this while haveing arm trouble. She couldnt use it. Well here is the weird part I had trouble with my right arm yrs ago. And where she has the cancer is where I had a epidoral to kill the nerves in my spine cause i couldnt take the pain. Do you think that its just dumb luck that we both had simmular problems and even in the same area of the spine ???? I am kind of afraid to be checked. But cancer does run in my family !

My Wedding Is Pissing Ppl Off
idk y but my sister is getting married in april of 2009 and i'm getting married july 13 2008 and she is mad at me for it. now she was going to get married in june but then she moved her wedding date so now she is pissed off at me that i'm getting married b-4 her and that i wont change my wedding date. also i odn't have the tradtional white wedding dress but i'm getting married in vegas at the stratosphere hotel and chapel so is it so wrong that my dress isn't white and that it only caost me $15.00?

I have tried to be the nice guy and end a few situations peacefully, but my efforts to keep the peace have gone up in smoke. Some people are hell-bent on trying to hurt others and being drama queens.
