I've been around, took time off to settle down, but now I'm back and hopefully for good. My Dad
Well, I have just been through one of the toughest weeks of my life. I just got home from Michigan last night, 07-28-07. I went out there on Tuesday after recieving a call from my brother telling me that my dad was in the hospital and the doctors were only giving him 4 days to live. It was a long drive, 16 hours to be exact, maybe a little longre with all of the road construction that I had to go through. I stopped at a rest area in Flint, Mi and slept for a while before continuing Wednesday morning. I finaly got there at about 10:30 Wednesday morning and basicaly went straight to the hospital. Manistee, Mi is where I went. Sorry. My mind still isn't functioning all that well. My brother finally got there at around 4:00 that afternoon. Sometimes it`s hard to look in the mirror. To see that face that everyone says is so pretty but it just looks plain to me. One Moment Of Bliss...written A While Ago
I was sitting on the beach just yesterday. It was the best day I have had in a long time. The sun was shining and the waves were coming in and out. I thought things could not have been any better. My hubby is home from the hospital...they gave him 4 shots of morphine, 6 sprays of nitro as well as the nitro patch, 2 doses of adavan, and asprin...after the second blood test they sent him home for me to watch over him for the next 48hrs...if the chest pains come back i have to rush him back in again...so he's no where near out of the woods yet...so if ya'll don't hear from me for awhile that's why. Livestrong Challenge 2007 Deadline
LiveStrong Challenge 2007- The site is only open to donations to individuals for another few days so please get them in. I appreciate everything, we beat last years total by $300 so far. Almost to $1,600! I am riding in the LiveStrong Challenge bike race in August. This is a true account recorded in the Police Log of Sarasota, Florida... An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle. Cheeseburger Or Not
This occured to me while sitting in McDonalds drive-thru tonight. I was bored and thought what if I ordered a cheeseburger, without onion, pickle mustard or ketchup and hold the cheese, meat and bun what would I get at the other end at the pick-up window. So I tried it, I ordered it that way. It cost me 1.40 for my above ordered cheeseburger. Now I don't know about you, but I think most of us would have figured out that a cheeseburger ordered the way I ordered it equals no burger at all. He's Home!
Wednesday, August 08, 2007 He’s HOME!... again! KALEB IS HOME NOW!!!! The doctor told us in the beginning that the bacteria in his blood could possibly be a contaminate (sp) and it was!!! THANK YOU GOD! He had two negative cultures and was able to come home. He is very sleepy though because of the Valium that they put him on. He should get used to it in about 2 weeks. But it has helped him tremendously. He is not as stiff as he was before and he actually lets you move him around with out stiffening like a board. He is getting SOOO BIG!! It brings tears to my eyes to see how much he has grown since all of this first happened. He is 8months old in 12 month clothing! Josh and I were talking about how close his Birthday is and how we still want to have a birthday party at the park. I hope that he is well enough for this. My Vacation
Well not much to say at this time but I will be going to Daytona on August 12 and staying in a condo on the beach close to Main Street till the 19th . so yea this morning my mom came and got the kids to take them to VA for a week. took them 9 hrs to get there. needless to say she was posed to call me and let me know that they arrived. i was worried they were in a car accident cuz she never called, i always think the worst when theyre away from home am i wrong to think this way? so finally after calling cell phones galore i finally reached a person, i got so friggin tired of leaving messages on cell phones its ridiculus..lol. so yea i talked to my mom finally and she told me they got to Pamplin, VA at 5:30pm. i was glad cuz i got to talk to my youngest one, ya know i dont ask for much.. a simple phone call wud be nice to let me kno my kids are alive.. god.. and it aggrivates me even more cuz i was sorta flippin out on the phone and my mom was laughing at me.. it isnt right. but im happy they made it. so thats it for now

Nothing like a few days of hundred degree weather to make you want to sit out on the porch and do shots. Finally A Day Off
Well tomorrow I got a day off. Me and my hubby are going to Destin to do some serious shopping. Im so excited! Chilling
I've made it to VA, hanging out at my parents house. Family is over for the afternoon so of course my mom is happy all her kids are here. Getting viscously assaulted by a 4 1/2 year old, I don't think he wants any cousins... Decompressing, trying to chill out and enjoy this time with family. It's been better this time that it was in June, mainly because I'm at my parents house so they can go about their routine, they always have stuff to do and such so I can stay out of the way and chill. lol Another thing they told us to watch out for is anger. Vacation
Well I have returned from vacation..it was so nice to get away...and watching my son enjoy the ocean for the first time was amazing. Im ready to purchase real estate there..lol We had a blast...Next time I want to learn how to wind surf...I think that would be exciting. Having even just a few moments...to think of something other than work and normal weekly catastrophe's...was the respite I needed. Something about drinking my coffee on the deck..while watching the waves break at sunrise seem to have brought some peace to my life...And the sunsets..they were gorgeous. The Ani-jam Report!
all I can say is WOW! What an amazing time we had this weekend. Ani-Jam was the first convention we finally made it to this year and it was wonderful... Flooding In Northcentral Ohio
To be honest, I knew we had gotten dumped with aot of rain in the past 48 hours but I never suspected it would cause the problems that it did. I got off work this morning (august 21, 2007) at 7 a.m.. Everything seemed to be the normal cloudy skies like it was going to rain at any second. Headed down the main fourlane road that runs in front of where i work to go to the gas station further in town, needless to say what I ran into was mild as to what was to come on my adventure of trying to drive what is normally a half hour to get home or 22 miles. The fouralne was under about a foot of water for about a half mile, I know they warn you not to drive through flooded streets, but in this case there was nowhere to turn around, most of the suv's and 4wd pickups which are alot larger and have higher ground clearance than my Colorado came to an acrupt stop, now my figuring is if i can see the centerline on the road then there is a good chance I cna make it through the water, not much different
