My Meaning Of Fu....
I have been on fu over a 2 years now and have seen and heard things I would prefer to forget about. Like most here, I was invited with no warning or explanation of what Fubar is. I almost didn't stay but I looked around and tried to figure out the "rules" and how "the game" was being played. I soon found out the posted rules are often broken or ignored completely and the game was open for interpretation. I read the blogs written by the yellow names and still find myself confused as to what the hell I am supposed to be doing here. The game even changes by it's creator quite often. Yesterday I find out that from my jump on June 1st of last year I sustained a compressed disk fracture in my L4 spine. The only fix is with surgury and I am not sure if I can even get it. Help.....would Greatly Appreciate Any Advice Out There
PLEASE, if anyone out there knows any thing about Sciatic nerve, and Lumbar disc damage.....I really could use your advice, support, etc of any kind. I have had sciatic pain since Jan. of this year. Progressively got worse, though I thought it was something that would go away. The last three months, I have been back and forth, with my family physician, a chiropractor, orthopedic.....Last week, had a MRI...basically, I have a Lumbar disc in my lower back, that is deteriorating, and pressing on the sciatic nerve, in my left leg. The pain is HORRIBLE, and constant. My next and only step, after my recent MRI, is a series of three epidurals, in hopes of lessoning the pain, and nerve irritation. After doing alot of reading, and researching, I have found out, that there is a BIG possibility, I may, eventually, have total nerve damage, or, it could take 3-5 years, maybe longer, before, most of the pain goes away, well enough so, I can learn, to DEAL with it. Another Update
The whole community, along with several others.. in fact, over 250,000 San Diegans have been mandatorily evacuated from their homes. Even Qualcomm Stadium (home of the Chargers) is now a huge evacuation center. Helped water, and pack up my friends, make phone calls to neighbors and evacuated to my friends Ellen and Bill, to his daughter's house along the coast in Leucadia. I talked to my roommate while we were driving to the coast and there are fires north of San Diego, just south of Anaheim/Disneyland in Irvine - so the 5 freeway is jammed up and there is no way for me to get back home.. I'm only an hour's drive from home and can't get there!! Fortunately, Anaheim is safe, but the ash rain and winds are taking its toll up there. So last night while we were all getting drunk and playing video games, some chick knocks on our door. Upcomming Divorce
As some of you know I have been working on my divorce for over 2 years. He has done everything from refusing to sign the papers to having his attorney as the judge for 30 days to prove to everyone that he has changed. Now this is the same guy that hit me, chose drugs over his family, and would not seek any kind of help. Weekly Update
I just returned from visiting my father at the hospital. He went through his second surgery on Tuesday, where they once again removed his replacement knee, sterilized, irrigated and put it back in. He DID have a bit of a heart issue near the end of the surgery, but the Drs. assured us that they were able to stabilize everything before sending him to recovery. Seeing him today made me feel better because he actually ate something and they used a lift to get him out of bed and had him sitting in a chair for quite a while. The major concern still remains the blood poison, which sent him there in the first place. There are still issues with his kidneys and sugar levels, but at 80, the Drs. told us this was to be expected. I videoed portions of my son's baseball game from last night, put it on DVD and played it for him today. It seemed to lift his spirits tremendously. What If We Legalized Recreational Drugs?
I believe it is coming. The legalization of recreational drugs. People want the right to do whatever they want to their own body. Yesterday was the synchrozation of minor annoyance and stupid stuff. It seems to be relentless and unforgiving. 3/16/09 Episode 1: Sam Finds His Mom
After 30 years of not knowing my mom due to family contraversy, I finally tracked her down. Ironically through a cousin who found ME through Facebook. There is some good that can come out of social networking sites eh? So now...I have to find a way to Mexico, where it seems she is. Apparently, due to her illness, she doesn't remember anything about me, my father, the marraige....nothing from that point in our lives. From what I can understand, she can only communicate through writing. Though this is the happiest of occasions, it is still the saddest, scariest, angering, and most difficult as well. I just joined the community of people having some of their pictures marked NSFW. These pictures did not show anything that one could not see at the local mall or bar. Someone made a choice to report these pictures, instead of moving on to a different page or engaging me in a conversation about why they found these to be NSFW. I respect everyone's right to choose. Drh Sucks, Just Saying
the bastard got me thinking about pastrami the other day when he wanted to know what to do with a corned beef without the boil with cabbage thing. i told him how to make pastrami from it on a grill or smoker of course me being a lazy fuck haven`t had the smoker fired up in while got up this morning, made coffee, fired up a bowl while waiting for coffee and at on deck looking at smoker got that heated up and tossed a pair of whole chickens on it. friggin birds looked lonely on there, it`s a big fuckin smoker. ended up going to supermarket and picking up some friends for the chickens. now i have a rainbow trout, a whole tilapia, a 4 lb.tritip and 2 chickens on the smoker. of course i had to get beer to drink while tending the smoker, decided to try a new one. wingwalker lager by rj.king brewery, great beer try it if you see it. too much food in smoker, made a few phone calls, now have tuna salad,potato salad and dessert on the way over with friends tis a good fuckin day so far

Bisons Win And Weekend
So first of all if my boss is reading this, thanks for the Baseball tickets and the day off. I'm still in shock that the Bisons won and that it didn't rain. The bisons beat the Durham Bulls. I call them one of the Icon teams. What I mean is that people who don't follow baseball have heard of them. That alone doesn't make them a good team. I think part of the reason they are so well known is from the movie Bull Durham. I admit I have never seen it. So the other night The Penguins won and that means game seven in Detroit on Friday night. That should be a great game. Since the start of the series I didn't think the Penguins could beat Detroit. What's Up With Me
Hey everyone...I know I have been barely around here lately but I'm here to explain why. With the kids out for summer and one of my sons making allstars again this year leaves me hardly anytime. They practice everday and then we do the tournaments on the weekends. Baseball baseball baseball LOL To top it all off I registered in college. I know its the overly used lame statement but it kinda puts into perspective something important. I was thinking back to when i was younger and how everything i did was a grand adventure. Back when then we would walk all the way from Irvine to the tustin market place. It would take hours and we would go through ditches and sewers and fields. We would notice every bit of the area stopping to explore what ever was interesting. As we grow older our worlds start to expand and things start moving by faster. We stop taking time to notice all those things that used to be fascinating. I guess what im trying to say now that i seem to have fallen back into routine of life is that i need to enjoy the fact that here i am. It seems that much of my life is working toward the ends with out taking a thought about the means. Week 2- Day 1
What's up people? Hope you had a good weekend. So it would seem that not a whole lot of people are interested in this, but I don't care so I'm gonna keep posting. Lets get to Monday of week two. I started with a good breakfast, some veggies, a slice of toast, and a couple of poached eggs. 1 glass of grapefruit juice, a glass of water, and a multi-vitamin. Started with my normal warm up routine. 15 minutes doing that. I don't recommend any specific routine, just anything that stretches your muscles and joints, as well as get's your heart pumping. After my warm up I moved on to the workout obviously, with a half liter thing of water. Always be prepared. I stuck with friday's routine to get me back into the swing of things for the week, so those of you who have read last weeks already know what i did. My Past Caught Up With Me...
