A Week And..
It has been one week and 3 days since I smoked my last cigarette. I don't feel any healthier than I did a week ago. Maybe a little less pressure on the chest, but nothing faboo like the last time I quit. Yes, the last time. *sigh* This is an addiction I will most definately struggle with my whole life. Surgery...
I went into the hopsital Monday night thanks to EMS. I was having pain in my lower left back. I knew what it was because I had had this pain before, but not this bad. Turns out that I had three medium kidney stones this time. Two on the left and one on the right. I was being pumped full of saline IV to try and flush them out. It was not working. Wednesday morning I was visited by my doctor. He told me that I had two options: Go home and try to pass them on my own or have surgery and have them removed. He said by what he saw in the x-ray, there was no way of passing them normally. So I had my first operation to have the stones removed. They could not get the breathing tube down my throat so they put it in my right nostril. That hurt like hell. I was under when they did the operation. I will save you all the details. I will just say this: I now have a stent in right now. If you don't know what that is, messsage me and I will tell you. I got back Thursday afternoon. I am still feeling pai

I finally found it. It is a beautiful piece of music video. Alright, I don't like to go into real personal stuff on blogs anymore, but this one has just been eating at me. When I was 5 years old my mom took me to a pet shop and introduced me to a long time resident there named Corby. Corby was a full grown scarlet macaw that no one really wanted because he was old and had started to bite. Being that the petshop was in the mall every time I went to get something in the mall, I would stop by and say hello, and made a promise to myself a long time ago that I would eventually buy Corby so he wouldn't spend his entire life in a cage, but would at least for a short while have a real home. I've being stopping in and saying hello to Corby for over 15 years now. Well yesterday when taking a friend to grab some chinese food I stopped again as I usually do, and there was a memorial in honor of Corby. I admit it, I started to cry. Hannibal Rising Review
I saw the movie today with my husband, mom, and brother, and it was KICKASS!!!! It deviated slightly from the book, [which I read as soon as I heard about the movie], like at the beginning, Hannibal when he is at the orphanage, never escaped the basement, but the guy he stabbed with the fork took him into his shed and was going to beat him, and he almost did until Hannibal's Uncle came and got him. In the movie, Hannibal walked to his uncle's castle and his uncle's wife said he passed away a year before, but in the book, he was picked up by his uncle and he died a year after Hannibal moved in. But for the most part it stuck to the book, and the movie was exactly how I pictured it in my head reading the book, which was cool. They left one crucial part out near the end, one of the ways Hannibal found a war criminal was they stole paintings from his family's castle and sold them on the black market, and he tracked Grentz down by that method. My Furry Son Aka My Cat
Another boring blog , but hey I'm going to write anyway. I just want to know if this is strange or not ,and if anyone else does this. I have a cat whom I love with all my heart. He is a sweetie. My ex roomie brought him home for himself, but somehow he latched onto me and we have been together ever since. He sleeps with me at night, expects me to get up at 4am to play or let him out . I get angry, but is it a normal thing? I hear and see other people get angry, but do they get angry like me? Do others fight and yell back at their parents? An Ordinary Day
Well not much going on with me today. The weekend is over and it is back to the old hum drum. I don't get to come here often as I have another site that I use more often. Well i found out today that all my friends have left me due to my desire and training to become a police officer. Good Memories
When David was little we went to the circus. I can't remember much of the circus itself.. except he was all smiles and laughing. And we rode the elephant together :) I know the pic below isn't the best, but a friend saw us and took it. It was just a night for us 2 guys.
